Summary created out of 138 reviews

The park enjoys a beautiful location directly on Lake Idro in a peaceful, unspoiled setting that offers a welcome alternative to the busy Lake Garda. Guests praise the friendly reception, well-maintained grounds, and spacious pitches with privacy hedges. The sanitary facilities are generally described as modern and clean, though some guests note that cleaning can be superficial and that shower lights turn off automatically. The pool is mainly suitable for young children and is considered small, while the restaurant receives mixed feedback—from positive to disappointing in terms of service and waiting times.

Beautiful, green campground; the location by the lake is truly fantastic.
The campground is clean and well-organized.
The children’s pool is really just for kids. Adults go in there too, but there’s no shower to rinse off before getting in, so everyone comes out of the pool “cleaner” than when they went in. The same goes for the lack of a footbath.
What frustrated me the most was the coperco at the little restaurant.
You can grab a quick bite—like a pizza (which was pretty mediocre, by the way)—but you pay 3.5 euros per person for a spot at a wooden picnic table (the kind you see on the highway).
So by the time the six of us had eaten, we were already at 21 euros.
Takeout is also an option, but if you walk along the path past the campground by the lake, you’ll come across another place to eat.
The food in the village itself is also much better.
The hike up to the mountaintop is fantastic, challenging, and not for the untrained.

A modern campground practically right on the lake, with direct access to the bike path and the small beach. Large campsites, some well-shaded and others completely exposed to the sun. The facilities are spacious and clean, though a bit far from the campsites. The first section of the campground consists entirely of wooden cabins and glamping structures. The pool is definitely too small and is often overcrowded. Children’s activities are offered in the morning and afternoon, but the campground is very much geared toward accommodating foreign tourists (some staff members don’t even speak Italian). For the price, we were hoping for much better.

For a girls’ night out, we chose the Glamping restaurant; we ordered an aperitif and then two mixed fried platters. Unfortunately, the two mixed fried platters we ordered were “unfit to eat”; we politely pointed out the (serious) problem, which was also confirmed by the staff who took the dishes back to the kitchen. We then settled for a single pizza to share.
When the bill came, we were charged the full price for the fried platters even though we hadn’t eaten them, and the pizza was taken off the bill. We politely pointed out that the dishes had been returned with the staff’s consent and knowledge, so it wasn’t right to charge us for them. Annoyed, the “cashier” replied that he was just a waiter and that this was what he’d been told to do. We asked to speak to the manager, who—despite being aware of the mix-up—not only failed to apologize but tried to make amends with nothing more than a voucher for an aperitif!!!! And I’ll leave it at that…
We’re very disappointed by this inflexible business approach and, above all, by the complete lack of attention in saying goodbye to us as we left. We were gracious enough not to continue the discussion at the register and not to file the complaints typically made in such cases. It’s disappointing to see that such a “well-maintained” setting isn’t matched by professional handling of service issues. A real shame…
