What a fantastic place! Casa Tartufo is a lovely, well-organized campground where the kids make friends in no time. They have fun all day long in the peaceful pool and on the trampoline. The cocktail bar keeps the parents entertained. An absolute highlight is the group pizza nights: the kids eat together around one big table, allowing the parents to relax and enjoy themselves too. A perfect evening for everyone!

Wat een fantastische plek! Casa Tartufo is een heerlijke, overzichtelijke camping waar de kinderen in een mum van tijd vriendjes maken. Ze vermaken zich de hele dag in het rustige zwembad en op de trampoline. De cocktail bar vermaakt de ouders. We’ve now stayed twice in an apartment overlooking the valley—a ground-floor apartment. This apartment has its own little terrace with a view of the valley, which is a truly wonderful place to enjoy a glass of wine or a beer in reasonably private surroundings. The apartment stays cool, even when it’s hot outside. It overlooks the pool, so you can … keep an eye on your child from a distance. The apartment is spacious enough for four people. It’s not easy to find a cool apartment with all these perks in a place that’s perfect for kids up to, I’d say, 13 or 14 years old.
We really enjoy the pizza nights, when you sit at a long table with the whole campground eating and drinking wine. The people who come to this campground are mostly super friendly and often up for a chat—it has a strong “chit-chat” vibe.
We didn’t participate in the BBQ evenings or the wine tasting because those are more family-oriented and have a more individual vibe.
Within an hour’s drive, you’ll find fantastic towns and villages like Assisi, Urbino, or Gubbio, and you’re just an hour from the beach, where you can explore several other towns. The number of activities to do nearby is limited, but overall, there’s enough to keep you entertained every day for two weeks if that’s the level of activity you’re looking for.
There are several supermarkets within a 15-minute drive.
The biggest downside is the mosquitoes; despite taking plenty of precautions against them, we still got bitten quite a bit. Also, don’t be surprised if you find a small scorpion in your bedroom. These are harmless but can be a bit of a shock if you don’t know what it is.
All in all, this is highly recommended, and the apartments strike a balance between camping and having your own little cottage somewhere—a balance between socializing and privacy—making them perfect for relaxing while still being surrounded by a social environment.this is a translation, click here for the original
Wij hebben nu 2x in appartement gezeten met uitzicht op de valei, een benedenappartement. Dit appartement heeft een eigen terrasje met uitzicht over de valei, en dat is echt heerlijk genieten van je wijntje of biertje, in enigszins redelijke privacy. Het appartement is koel, ook als het buiten warm is. Het heeft uitzicht op het zwembad, waardoor je je kind in de gaten kan houden van een afstand. Het appartement is ruim genoeg, en voor 4 personen. Het is niet makkelijk om een koel appartement te vinden met bovenstaande pluspunten, op een plek die uitstekend is voor kinderen tot, ik zou zeggen, 13/14 jaar.
De pizza avonden vinden wij erg leuk, je zit dan aan een lange tafel met de hele camping te eten en wijn te drinken. De mensen die op deze camping afkomen zijn grotendeels supersociaal en vaak allemaal in voor een praatje, een hoog “je gooit er een kwartje in” gehalte.
De bbq avonden en wijnproeverij hebben wij niet gedaan omdat die meer gericht zijn op je gezin, en een meer individueel karakter hebben.
In de buurt op 1 uur rijden vind je fantastische steden/dorpen zoals Assisi, Urbino of Gubbio, en je zit op een uur van het strand waar diverse andere steden te bewonderen zijn. Het aantal activiteiten in de buurt om te doen is gering, maar overall is er genoeg te doen om je twee weken iedere dag te vermaken als je die mate van activiteit nastreeft.

Grootste minpunt zijn de muggen, ondanks veel muggenbeschermende maatregelen zijn we redelijk lekgestoken. Ook moet je er niet raar van opkijken als je een kleine schorpioen in je slaapkamer zal vinden. Deze zijn ongevaarlijk maar kan schrikken zijn als je niet weet wat het is.
All by all is dit een absolute aanrader en zijn de appartementen zowel een compromis tussen een camping en een eigen huisje ergens, een compromis tussen sociaal en privacy, en dus supergeschikt om tot rust te komen en gelijktijdig ook een sociale omgeving om je heen te hebben. -

We rented a safari tent here for a week, and we had such a great time! After a week, the kids (ages 7, 10, and 12) actually didn’t want to leave; there were lots of Dutch families with children of all ages.
The campground is in a beautiful location. Plenty of shade. The pool is wonderful.
You do have to drive a bit to get to attractions, but … we didn’t find that bothersome.
Pizza night was a lot of fun. The owners are incredibly helpful and friendly.

We hebben hier een week een safaritent gehuurd en wat hebben we genoten! De kinderen (7, 10 en 12) wilden na een week eigenlijk niet weg; veel Nederlandse gezinnen met kinderen in alle leeftijden.
De camping ligt prachtig. Voldoende schaduw. Het zwembad is heerlijk.
Bij uitstapjes moet je eerst wel een stukje rijden, maar dat hebben wij niet als vervelend ervaren.
De pizza avond was erg gezellig. De eigenaren zijn ontzettend behulpzaam en vriendelijk.
Wij gaan niet zo snel terug naar een camping, maar bij Casa Tartufo sluiten we het niet uit. -

A lovely, peaceful campground in beautiful surroundings. We stayed in Apartment Sei, a great and beautiful apartment with all the amenities.
We especially appreciated the tips Sabine gave us on what’s worth visiting in the area!
The pizza nights were great—Benjamin’s delicious homemade pizzas really made it all come together!

Een heerlijke, rustige camping in een prachtige omgeving. Wij verbleven in appartement sei, een prima en mooi appartement met alles erop en eraan.
Vooral de tips, wat de moeite waard is in de omgeving om te bezoeken die wij kregen van Sabine waardeerden wij zeer!
De pizza avonden waren fijn, heerlijke door Benjamin zelfgemaakte pizza's maakte het helemaal af!

A super cool campground. The owners Ben and Sabine Stroo make you feel welcome in their home. Very enthusiastic and sweet people. The pizza and BBQ night are highly recommended. We will definitely go here again. This year 2023 we went to Casa Tartufo again. A great bunch of hard working people who have created something very beautiful. We slept … in the apartment described in a previous comment as very bad. A very nice and absolutely not damp apartment. We now slept in the apartment in the picture for the third time. Also had no problem in the spring. Well a small other problem which was solved immediately by the owner. They also organize fun outings such as an excursion to an olive oil factory, pizza and BBQ evenings organized by themselves. Highly recommended! We will definitely come back.

Een super gave camping. De eigenaren Benjamin en Sabine Stroo geven je het gevoel dat je welkom bent in hun huis. Erg enthousiaste en lieve mensen. De pizza- en BBQ-avond zijn een aanrader. We gaan hier zeker nog eens naar toe. Dit jaar 2023 zijn we weer naar Casa Tartufo geweest. Een geweldig stel hard werkende mensen die iets heel moois hebben neergezet. Wij sliepen in het appartement wat in een vorige reactie als heel slecht wordt omschreven. Een heel mooi en absoluut niet vochtig appartement. Wij sliepen nu voor de derde maal in het appartement op de foto. Ook in het voorjaar geen probleem gehad. Wel een klein ander probleem wat gelijk door de eigenaar werd opgelost. Ook organiseren ze leuke uitjes zoals een excursie naar een olijfolie makerij, pizza- en BBQ avonden door hun zelf georganiseerd. Kortom echt wel een aanrader! Wij komen op zeker nog een keer terug.
