I stayed at what’s called a hotel. The room was very basic but it’ll do… though it’s missing at least one locked closet, the air conditioner blows directly onto the bed (it’s hard to sleep), and you have to pay extra for the fridge! The pool slides are nice, but there’s absolutely no entertainment for the kids—we were told that the owners had a falling-out with the entertainers and they don’t come anymore! In the middle of the night, the neighbors were arguing loudly, so I went over to tell them it was late and my child was sleeping—could they please keep their voices down? None of the staff showed up, and they didn’t even notice what had fallen—it went on for over an hour while they were screaming like crazy! All in all, it’s a bit expensive for what you get! The view of the countryside is nice, but I wouldn’t go back.

Beautiful location, but unfortunately showing its age. The concept itself is great, but everything looks as if it was built 30 years ago and never renovated. The restrooms and showers are run-down, and the playground, the pool, and the dog park—with a view of trash—leave much to be desired. The staff is very friendly, the restaurant is great, and the prices are fair. But here, too, the seating is run-down. All in all, it’s okay for a stopover, but no more than 3 days.

The campground is run by a Dutch couple, so there are many foreign guests there—all very polite—and there’s a kids’ pool with new slides. The restaurant is good. I can’t comment on the rooms or bungalows because I didn’t see them.

We had a wonderful vacation. Beautiful location on a hill with views of both the sea and the countryside. Quiet, yet just a short distance from all amenities and attractions. The restaurant serves really good food.
The campground does need some maintenance, but once that’s taken care of, it could really become a gem. There was supposed to be entertainment, but we didn’t see any of it. Didn’t miss it, though. The kids (mostly Dutch) get along great in the beautiful, spacious pool, on the soccer field, and in the evenings during hunting season. Highly recommended!this is a translation, click here for the original
Heerlijke vakantie gehad.
Aanrader!
