There is plenty to admire in this nature reserve! The highest point in the park is Monte d'Olia. From 437 meters up here you have the best view of Sardinia and its azure waters. Heading toward the city of Alghero
Alghero, one of the largest cities in Sardinia, is about 5 kilometers from the glamping site. Take a trip to the historic center and wander the beautiful narrow streets, where the balconies are full of laundry hanging to dry. With its Catalan influences, many restaurants and a harbor, there is much to see, do and taste! Visit the Catalan Gothic Santa Maria Cathedral and walk the centuries-old seawalls. The Caves of Neptune
Not too far from the glamping are the Neptune Caves. A special piece of nature you can get to by boat from Alghero, or by climbing a steep rock with more than 500 steps. The campground itself is very nice; I can’t comment on the mobile homes since we travel with a trailer. It wouldn’t hurt to clean the restrooms a little more often. It’s pretty disgusting in there. The worst part, though, is the noise. I’m on vacation and don’t want to be subjected to loud music from outside the campground every evening. We’re … leaving early for this reason. During the day, you can constantly hear traffic or airplanes taking off or landing nearby. The staff are neither unfriendly nor friendly—they’re just there doing their job.

Der Campingplatz an sich ist sehr schön, die mobilehomes kann ich nicht bewerten, da wir mit Wohnwagen reisen. Es würde nicht schaden, einmal öfter die waschräume zu reinigen. Ist ziemlich widerlich dort. Am schlimmsten ist jedoch der Lärm. Ich bin im Urlaub und will nicht all abendlich mit Musik von außerhalb des Campingplatzes beschallt werden. Wir reisen aus diesem grund vorzeitig ab. Tagsüber hört man dauerhaft die Straße oder Flugzeuge die ganz in der Nähe starten oder landen. Die Servicekräfte sind weder unfreundlich noch freundlich. Sind einfach nur da und machen ihren Job.

Large campground, very expensive.
- Aging restrooms that aren’t always clean. The showers are cramped; your clothes get wet at the same time as you do. No toilet paper in the restrooms by the end of our stay, despite several requests made at the front desk.
-Food: Pizzas with very little topping and not very tasty. Expensive … drinks.
-Staff not very welcoming.
-Noisy entertainment with the same music on repeat every night until 11 p.m.

-Sanitaires vieillissants et pas toujours propres. Les douches sont étroites, vos vêtements se douchent en même temps que vous. Pas de papier dans les toilettes en fin de séjour malgré plusieurs demandes faites à l’accueil.

Great location with spacious pitches for every taste and budget. Dogs are welcome, and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were disappointing. They are dated, often not very clean, and the showers could also be better maintained. I would recommend hand showers. It was an improvement for … guests and would make cleaning the shower areas much easier for guests and staff.
The beach was the least impressive we have visited. Sun loungers cost extra, which is fine in principle, but the pricing feels somewhat inconsistent.
Our experience at the restaurant was also disappointing. Although several outdoor tables were free, we were told that only indoor seating was available, without any explanation. We therefore left and ate elsewhere, as the indoor atmosphere did not appeal to us.
Overall, a beautiful campsite with spacious pitches, friendly reception staff, and excellent public transport connections, but there is room for improvement, especially regarding the sanitary facilities and restaurant service. -
