To Sella Mosca, the largest winery in Sardinia
Enjoying a glass of wine during your glamping vacation in Italy is sure to come in handy in Sardinia. But you can also visit many vineyards on the island. The largest winery is Sella Mosca, just a 10-minute drive from the campsite. You can go there year-round for guided tours. Take a look into the wine cellars and see how the making process works. An educational and tasty trip!

A day at the Porto Conte Regional Park
Want to alternate the beach for an active day in the greenery? Then head to the Porto Conte Regional Park. Hike over hills, enjoy the beautiful viewpoints and admire the flora and fauna. There are several routes through the park, which are also great to make with children. Who knows, you might come across donkeys and ponies, or go in search of the pink flamingo. There is plenty to admire in this nature reserve! The highest point in the park is Monte d'Olia. From 437 meters up here you have the best view of Sardinia and its azure waters. With more than 5,000 acres of nature, there is plenty to explore.
Heading toward the city of Alghero
Alghero, one of the largest cities in Sardinia, is about 5 kilometers from the glamping site. Take a trip to the historic center and wander the beautiful narrow streets, where the balconies are full of laundry hanging to dry. With its Catalan influences, many restaurants and a harbor, there is much to see, do and taste! Visit the Catalan Gothic Santa Maria Cathedral and walk the centuries-old seawalls. Head toward the squares for restaurants, enjoy an aperitivo and browse the many quaint stores. End your day with a delicious Italian dinner, or find a spot to watch the sunset.
The Caves of Neptune
Not too far from the glamping are the Neptune Caves. A special piece of nature you can get to by boat from Alghero, or by climbing a steep rock with more than 500 steps. Once inside the caves you will admire the most beautiful stalactites and an extraordinary underground lake. Through this glamping in Sardinia it is possible to book excursions, including this particular excursion by boat!

A beautiful village, complete with bars, restaurants, and a small market; the best part, however, is the huge swimming pool, which features whirlpool areas and slides for children, as well as a small, well-stocked bar. We, with our two older children, stayed in the mobile homes reserved for Arca—they were beautiful, clean, and, most importantly, had air conditioning, a parking spot right in front, and were fully equipped with everything we needed inside. The service at the front desk was excellent, and the location was convenient for getting around. There’s a bus stop right in front that takes you to the beach, and it’s only a ten-minute drive to beautiful Alghero. Highly recommended!

Consigliatissimo!

We had a wonderful stay at Baia Blu in Fertilia and would highly recommend the campground, especially to families and anyone looking for a peaceful vacation.
The campground is very well-maintained and tidy. We especially loved the beautiful pool area, which is perfect for children. Our mobile home with a sea view was simply fantastic—clean, cozy, and the linens smelled incredibly fresh and pleasant.
Personally, we weren’t quite as impressed with the beach right next to the campground. However, if you walk a bit further, it gets more and more beautiful—Maria Pia Beach, for example, is highly recommended. There are also many gorgeous beaches in the area that are easily accessible by car. Most parking lots do charge a fee, though.
We found the shuttle bus to Alghero—a beautiful, lively city with a great old town and many restaurants—very convenient. For a fee, trips to other beaches are also offered. You can also book various excursions and activities right at the campground.
The campground’s supermarket is well-stocked and the prices are very reasonable. The entertainment staff goes out of their way, and the team is dedicated, even though you can tell that their resources and budget are somewhat limited.
One minor criticism is the Wi-Fi: It costs €20 per week. During our stay, however, it was barely usable due to construction work on the wiring. In addition, an older gentleman with very short hair at the front desk was, unfortunately, not particularly friendly; he constantly reacted in an unfriendly or impatient manner—a mix of snarky and annoyed. All the other staff members we interacted with, on the other hand, were exceptionally warm, helpful, and friendly.
Overall, we had a wonderful vacation. If you’re looking for peace and quiet and appreciate a well-maintained campground as a base for exploring the stunning beaches around Alghero, Baia Blu is the perfect place for you.this is a translation, click here for the original

We stayed in a prefabricated unit similar to a mobile home, and the quality was very good. It had two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, and air conditioning—which, thankfully, helped us cope with the 40 degrees we encountered. The campground has a large pool with water play features that’s also suitable for children. It was a positive experience.
