General information

The safari tent is 35 m² and can accommodate 4 people. There are 2 box-spring beds (80x200) with mosquito net and a separate children's area with a bunk bed (80/90x200) and mosquito net. Upon arrival, the beds are made. The simply furnished kitchen has a 4-burner stove and a refrigerator with freezer. Inside is a dining area with bench and chairs, and outside are 2 lounge chairs on the veranda. The tent has electricity, but no running water. For water, sanitary facilities and water taps are available nearby. The inventory can accommodate 6 people. An additional dome tent or facilities such as a camp bed and high chair are available upon request. The spacious veranda invites you to live and enjoy the outdoors to the fullest.

    Beautifully located campground with super friendly owners. We had a great time. The campsite is easily accessible with a caravan but take the exit Tavernelle and not Bargino (which Google maps indicates).

    First take the Tavernelle exit, which is the best route to get to the campsite. The other route do is indicated by google is very narrow and steep. The campground is nicely maintained and beautifully landscaped. Nice view over the Tuscan countryside! The sites are not very spacious for caravan or camper, you do have reasonable shade that is nice! If you have the dog with you, you can walk well across the road at the vineyard! Toilet building is neat and clean, only the showers are very small. There are 3 sitting toilets and 2 squat toilets. The owner is friendly and thoughtful! From here Florence and Siena are easy to visit!

    Als eerst neem de afslag Tavernelle, die route rijdt het best om bij de camping te komen. De andere route doe wordt aangegeven door google is erg smal en stijl. De camping is netjes onderhouden en mooi aangelegd. Mooi uitzicht over het Toscaanse land! De plekken zijn niet erg ruim voor caravan of camper, je hebt wel redelijk schaduw dat is wel fijn! Als je de hond bij je hebt, kan je aan de overkant van de weg bij de wijngaard goed lopen! Toilet gebouw is netjes en schoon, alleen de douches zijn wel erg klein. Er zijn 3 zit toiletten en 2 hurktoiletten. De eigenaresse is vriendelijk en meedenkend! Van hieruit is Florence en Sienna goed te bezoeken!

    Very nice, well-kept campsite. The friendly and helpful hostess speaks excellent English. Beautiful view of the Tuscan countryside from the pool. Excellent wifi by Italian standards. Good starting point for many sights. Dear people, give yourselves San Gimignano, because it is totally overcrowded even in the low season. We will definitely be back.

    Sehr schöner , gepflegter Campingplatz. Die nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin spricht hervorragend Englisch. Schöner Blick vom Pool in die Landschaft der Toskana. Ein für italienische Verhältnisse hervorragendes Wifi. Guter Ausgangspunkt für viele Sehenswürdigkeiten. Liebe Leute, schenkt euch San Gimignano, denn es ist selbst in der Nebensaison total überlaufen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
