Hiking through Pratomagno
About an hour's drive from the glamping is the mountain area of Pratomagno. This hilly area is the ideal place for peaceful walks through Italian nature. Enjoy the tranquility, great views, and fresh air. One, almost literal, the highlight is Croce del Pratomagno. This large metal cross stands on a mountain peak 1594 meters high. Walk across meadows, along streams, and spot cows in the summer. One of the trails toward this extraordinary cross starts from Monte Lori, a 45-minute drive from the glamping site. Follow the Cai 00 trail and, after a route of about 10 kilometers, reach this summit. Bring plenty of water, some snacks and enjoy an active day in the beautiful Tuscan countryside.

The campground was very strategic to explore the entire Tuscany region. The tents were nicely lined up and close to the bar/restaurant/shop/playground/swimming pool. The swimming pool (no swimming cap!) was a wonderful addition to the campground. Playground near the restaurant was very nice. Food at the restaurant at the campsite was good. Facilities in the tent were as expected. In Bucine wonderful connection by train to Florence. Great shopping wonderful to do in Montevachi (20min drive).

De camping lag erg strategisch om de gehele toscane streek te ontdekken. De tenten stonden mooi op een rij en dichtbij de bar/restaurant/winkel/speeltuin /zwembad. Het zwembad (zonder badmuts!) was een prachtige toevoeging bij de camping. Speeltuin bij het restaurant was erg leuk. Eten bij het restaurant op de camping was goed. Faciliteiten in de tent waren naar verwachting. In Bucine prachtige verbinding met de trein naar Florence. Grote inkopen prachtig te doen in Montevachi (20min rijden).
