    We stayed at Camping Lucherino (Tuscany) for two weeks. The safari tent we had was perfect for four people (two adults, two children). There was plenty of shade, which was really nice given the temperatures there. Actually, everything was perfect. The restaurant (definitely take the cooking workshop!!), which is right on the campground, the pool, the poolside bar, and the breakfast service, including fresh coffee. Above all, the people who work there make all the difference. Joanne and Mike make you feel right at home. They’re always available, welcoming, know the area well, and are super friendly and helpful! The kids had a great time, too. The pool, the variety of activities with entertainment, and playing at the campground rounded out the experience. Plenty of friends!
    There are lovely little rivers and hiking trails in the area. Plenty to do. We’ll definitely be back—for the campground, the people, the peace and quiet, the surroundings, the weather, and the delicious food and drinks.

    We verbleven 2 weken op camping Lucherino (Toscane). De Safari tent die wij hadden was top voor 4 personen (2 volwassenen, 2 kinderen). Er was volop schaduw, gezien de temperaturen daar was dat heel fijn. Eigenlijk was alles perfect. Het restaurant (doe de kook workshop!!) wat direct in/tegen de camping aanligt, het zwembad, de bar bij het zwembad en de broodjes service incl verse koffie. Bovenal maken de mensen die er werken het verschil. Door Joanne en Mike voel je je thuis. Ze zijn beschikbaar, gastvrij, kennen de omgeving goed en zijn super vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Ook de kids hadden het leuk. Het zwembad, de kleine afwisseling met animatie en spelen op de camping maken het compleet. Volop vriendjes!
    In de omgeving zijn er leuke reviertjes en wandelroutes. Genoeg om heel veel leuke dingen te doen. We komen nog wel een keer terug, voor de camping, de mensen, de rust, de omgeving, het weer en het heerlijke eten en drinken.

    What a great campground. I recommend this campground to anyone who wants to explore this area. It’s a quiet campground where you can enjoy a beautiful view and sunset. The campground has a pool, which is a plus for the kids. There’s a bar by the pool where you can get drinks and ice cream. We were there with our 6- and 7-year-old children, and as they said: it was a perfect campground. Because the campground is small, you can let them roam around the grounds with peace of mind—they make friends here so quickly! The campground also offered children’s activities twice a week, with games they played together. There was also a ping-pong table, badminton equipment available, a trampoline, a swing, and a slide. It was all a lot of fun! For adults, there are also activities like yoga. The campground is very well maintained. The restrooms were always clean. We stayed with our folding trailer at Horizon Site 66, and I’d book this spot again in a heartbeat! For groceries, there’s a mini-market nearby, but the selection is really quite limited—at least for us... We made the trip to Eurospin, which was about a 10- to 15-minute drive. There’s also a restaurant at the campground. You can get takeout or eat there. Plus, the owners are always around at the campground. If you need anything, you can always talk to them. They’re friendly and helpful.

    Wat een top camping. Deze camping raad ik iedereen aan die deze omgeving wil verkennen. Rustige camping waar je kan genieten van een prachtig uitzicht en zonsondergang. De camping heeft een zwembad wat een + is voor de kids. Aan het zwembad is een bar waar je drankjes en ijsjes kan nemen. Wij waren er met kinderen van 6 en 7 jaar en zoals ze zeide: het was een perfecte camping. Doordat de camping klein is kan je ze met een gerust gevoel hun gang laten gaan op het terrein, ze maken hier zo snel vriendjes! De camping had ook twee keer per week kinderanimatie, met spelletjes die ze dan speelden. Er was ook een pingpontafel, badminton met attributen beschikbaar, trampoline, schommel. Glijbaan. Heel leuk allemaal! Voor de volwassenen zijn er ook activiteiten zoals yoga. De camping is ook zeer goed onderhouden. Het sanitair was altijd proper. Wij stonden met onze vouwwagen op horizonplaats 66 en ik zou dit direct opnieuw boeken! Voor de boodschappen is er een mini market vlakbij maar dit is wel echt heel beperkt, toch voor ons... wij maakte de trip naar eurospin wat een 10-15minuutjes rijden was. Op de camping is er ook een restaurant. Hier kan je afhalen of ter plaatsen eten. Daarnaast zijn de uitbater ook aanwezig op de camping. Is er iets kan je ze altijd aanspreken. Ze zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

    A lovely, quiet campground; the people there are very friendly and speak English—or at least all do their best.
    The owners, Mike and Joanna, are super nice and take care of everything down to the last detail.

    Last week, we enjoyed an 8-day stay in a beautiful safari tent with a stunning view. Mike and Joanna are incredibly hospitable and make sure you feel welcome from the very first moment. The restrooms are always clean, the pool is wonderful, and the food at the restaurant is excellent. The accommodations were also comfortable and fully equipped. Plus, there’s more than enough to do in the area: beautiful rivers, cozy restaurants, and plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities.

    Vorige week hebben we 8 dagen genoten van een verblijf in een prachtige safaritent met een schitterend uitzicht. Mike en Joanna zijn ontzettend gastvrij en zorgen ervoor dat je je vanaf het eerste moment welkom voelt. Het sanitair is altijd schoon, het zwembad is heerlijk en in het restaurant kun je uitstekend eten. Ook de accommodatie was comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. Daarnaast is er in de omgeving meer dan genoeg te beleven: mooie rivieren, gezellige restaurants en volop mogelijkheden voor sportieve activiteiten.

    We stayed at this campground for a week in a safari tent with our 4-year-old daughter. What a wonderful campground! Our daughter had a great time at the pool and the playground, and we were able to relax at the cozy pool bar ;) There was plenty of space around the tent with a view of the forest. Plenty of privacy! The owners, Mike and Joanna, are very hospitable and have set up the campground with great care. They offer excellent recommendations for plenty of activities in the area, and they also organize fun, small-scale activities at the campground, including ones for kids. We highly recommend it and hope to come back again someday!

    Samen met onze dochter van 4 hebben we een week op deze camping gestaan in een safaritent. Wat een heerlijke camping! Dochter heeft zich perfect vermaakt bij het zwembad en de speeltuin en wij konden relaxen in de gezellige poolbar;) veel ruimte rond de tent met uitzicht op het bos. Veel privacy! Eigenaren Mike en Joanna zijn erg gastvrij en hebben de camping met zorg ingericht. Ze geven zeer goede aanbevelingen voor genoeg activiteiten in de buurt en ook op de camping organiseren ze leuke, kleinschalige activiteiten, ook voor kinderen. Echt een aanrader en we hopen weer een keer terug te komen!

    Last week we stayed in a glamping tent with private bathroom facilities at Mike and Joanna’s campground. Everything was perfect down to the last detail. Very clean, plenty of storage space, and comfortable beds! The kids had a blast in the pool and the adjacent playground. They immediately felt at ease thanks to Mike, who invited them to hop in the golf cart with him to show us the tent. They really enjoyed the kids’ activities with Joanna.
    It’s wonderful to relax by the pool with its pool bar.
    We were able to enjoy the most beautiful sunset together as a family.
    The restaurant serves delicious and affordable food.

    Wij verbleven vorige week in een glamping tent met sanitair op de camping van Mike en Joanna. Alles was tot in de puntjes in orde. Zeer proper, voldoende opbergruimte en goeie bedden! De kindjes hadden in het zwembad en het bijhorende speelpleintje een toptijd. Ze voelden zich direct op hun gemak door Mike die hen uitnodigde om mee te gaan in het golfkarretje om ons de tent te tonen. De kinderanimatie met Joanna vonden ze super leuk.
    Aan het zwembad met bijhorende poolbar is het zalig vertoeven.
    We konden samen met het gezin genieten van de mooiste zonsondergang.
    In het restaurant kan je heerlijk en betaalbaar eten.
    We wensen jullie het allerbeste toe met deze camping, jullie zijn echt goed bezig!
