Safari tent Valley - 6 persons

Camping Lucherino is a really nice campground. It’s exactly what camping should be like. We spent three weeks in our tent at a fantastic spot with a view of the horizon, where we enjoyed spectacular sunsets every evening. Our children, ages 14, 10, and 6, also had a fantastic time—swimming in the pool, playing games at the bar, jumping on the trampoline, and enjoying “hunting season” with all the other kids in the evenings.

The campground is beautifully laid out, with a spacious pool and a super fun self-service bar. The restrooms at the top are really nice—they have fun, cheerful tiles and plenty of showers, sinks, and toilets. Good water pressure, and hot water at all times. The extra restrooms by the pool are a nice touch, so you don’t have to walk so far in the heat.

The surroundings are beautiful, and there’s plenty to do! Upon arrival, you’ll get an email with lots of great tips—we thought that was fantastic!

The small grocery store in the village, a 5-minute walk away, has delicious croissants with Nutella and yellow cream. Get there early because they sell out fast 😉

Mike and Joanna are very nice; they go out of their way to make sure everyone has a great time!

We had a wonderful vacation at Camping Lucherino!

A simple campground nestled among majestic chestnut trees with breathtaking views. If you enjoy spartan simplicity combined with cleanliness and excellent amenities.

We camped for two weeks at this really nice campground. It’s wonderfully peaceful, not too big, and there’s plenty to do. The owners are visibly present every day. They’re hardworking people, but they also make time for a chat. If there’s a problem, it gets resolved right away. The restrooms are a bit dated but perfectly functional. The restaurant serves delicious food and organizes fun activities and lively evenings with music. And the sunset is magical every single time. I highly recommend visiting!

Unfortunately, the campground was a bit of a letdown. Maybe we expected too much based on the beautiful photos. There are indeed a few nice, spacious spots with a view of the horizon, but otherwise there are mostly small and somewhat dusty sites with no view. Once again, the Instagram reality turned out to be more appealing than the real thing. It all looks a bit messy; there’s one bathroom building that’s severely outdated and a sort of makeshift shed… After the initial disappointment, we ended up having a great week, and I really think this place has the potential to be absolutely beautiful!

Cozy pool with a convenient bar and a separate sunbed area for dog owners.
Restrooms were always clean and in good working order.
Simple but well-prepared buffet restaurant.
Pets are warmly welcomed.
Very popular.
The staff’s courtesy is exquisite and highly appreciated.
Highly recommended.
