We’re traveling in a RV....A dream destination for families with kids—plenty of pools and everything you need for fun. I highly recommend it. My nieces and nephews go wild at Hu Village Norcenni Girasole. For young people, there’s a game room, entertainment, and a disco. Take evening strolls through the village, enjoy the piano bar, and more. You’ve got to go!!!!

We spent a week at the resort and, overall, we had a great time. The water park is truly spectacular—lots of pools, play areas for the little ones, and especially the tube slide, which was probably the biggest highlight of the vacation for the kids. The pool areas are well-maintained, and we spent practically entire days there.
However, there are a few areas that could be improved: in the restaurants and bars, the value for money didn’t always meet our expectations, and the cleanliness of the accommodations could be a bit more thorough.
Overall, though, it’s a very nice resort, especially for families. We’re giving it 5 stars mainly for the pools and the entire water park, which is truly worth it.

A vacation that met my expectations—relaxing... great for families with kids, lots of pools... and when it comes to dining, you're spoiled for choice.

We stayed at this campground for two weeks, and our experience was somewhat mixed.

The positives

The grounds are large, pleasant, and very beautiful. It’s also easily accessible by car.

The water park is really great: there are many pools and several water slides, which is especially nice for families with children.

The dining area is another highlight. There’s plenty of choice, prices are reasonable, and the menu is varied.

The campground also has two convenience stores and laundromats, which is very convenient. Overall, everything is available on-site, and there’s no need to leave the campground for daily necessities.

The downsides

On the other hand, we were very disappointed with the room.

We had booked a room for four people and ended up on the second floor, in a mezzanine under the roof. This layout is really not suitable for a family with a 3-year-old child. The stairs in this old Tuscan house are very narrow and quite high, which makes them impractical and a bit unnerving with a young child.

Upon our arrival, the room was not very clean and in poor condition. We noticed several issues:

a mirror had fallen because it was poorly secured;
some electrical outlets were loose;
one of the bed legs was broken;
a bathroom light was missing its cover;
one of the two air conditioners wasn’t working.

Regarding the air conditioning, we were told that a single unit was enough to cool the room. That was absolutely not the case. Up in the attic, it was very hot, even with the air conditioner running. Furthermore, it was particularly noisy, as was the refrigerator.

The remote controls for the air conditioner and the TV were the wrong ones, and the batteries were either missing or completely corroded.

Housekeeping was also a major drawback. In two weeks, the housekeeping staff came by only six times. Three of those times, they came in the morning. The other times, they came around 2:30 p.m., which was right during our child’s nap time.

When cleaning was done, it was very superficial: only the double bed was made, and the children’s single beds were never made. Furthermore, the bathrooms were not properly cleaned.

Overall impression

The campground has many strengths, including its grounds, its water park, its restaurants, and its shops. We really enjoyed these aspects of our stay.

On the other hand, the quality of the accommodations and housekeeping did not meet the standards we expected. The numerous issues we encountered in the room, the heat in the attic, the noise, and the inadequate housekeeping unfortunately cast a shadow over our stay.

For a two-week family vacation, we expected clean, functional, and well-maintained accommodations. It is primarily in this regard that our experience was disappointing.
