A wonderful campground, especially for families with children up to about 9 years old. A friendly campground with a really nice atmosphere. The cozy pasta nights hosted by Giulio, without any disturbance from loud music. A pool where you can really cool off. And above all, Elwin and Yvette, who, together with their children, do everything they can to ensure a pleasant stay. They’re so dedicated to their guests and the local community.

A really fun campground in a beautiful spot atop a mountain. It’s been under new ownership since February 2026, and the owners are always on-site, which is evident in how well-maintained the place is and the atmosphere. This campground still has a lot of potential, so I think the value for money will only continue to improve in the coming seasons. Pro tip: There are several companies that offer spots at this campground, but contact the owners directly for the best advice and price.

A really nice campground, run by a friendly Dutch couple. Nice pool, peaceful surroundings, beautiful views, and a cozy bar. We travel in a 7.5-meter camper, and it’s easy to get there—check their website for the correct directions.

It's not very big, but it has spacious campsites equipped with electricity and water. You can buy produce from their garden. The owners are friendly and kind. The only downside: too many flies and wasps.

We had such a wonderful time at Luna del Monte Campground! We came with our two children, ages 4 and 7. The new owners, Elwin and Yvette (along with their children), are doing a fantastic job. They’re incredibly kind and approachable people who are truly passionate about their business and do everything they can to ensure you have a wonderful time.

The campground is beautifully situated on a mountain, offering breathtaking views. Our safari tent was fully furnished and exactly to our liking, and the restrooms were also very well maintained. The pool is ideal for fun and cooling off, with plenty of lounge chairs, umbrellas, and shade.

The village is within walking distance—it’s really charming and worth a quick visit. We went to Città di Castello for our big grocery run, where you can find absolutely everything (even an Action 😉). It’s also a lovely little town worth exploring.

Thanks to the small-scale atmosphere and the fun playground (complete with a trampoline and table tennis), the kids made friends quickly, and we parents also had some pleasant company. The Italian evenings (dinner together) are highly recommended—they were very well organized and super fun.
We’re heading home with fantastic memories. A vacation we’ll never forget!
