Wander the streets of historic Italian cities
Walk through historic streets, admire the hilly countryside from viewpoints, see art in museums and enjoy fresh pasta and pizza. Italian cities offer everything for a fun family outing. Several beautiful cities surround the glamping Punta Navaccia, including Arezzo, Montepulciano, Perugia, Assisi, and Siena. So the glamping in Umbria is a good base should you want to visit these cities. Enjoy an Italian wine, wander through the historic centers, and order a refreshing scoop of Italian ice cream. After a day on the road, relax in the luxury safari tents at the glamping site!

The thermal baths of Bagni di San Filippo
Just over an hour in the car and you will arrive at the thermal baths of Bagni di San Filippo. The baths are located in a wooded area and some parts of the water are as high as 40 degrees. The smell takes some getting used to, but once you've rubbed yourself with the white sulfurous mud you'll enjoy a special day in and beside the water.
Enjoying music at Umbria Jazz
For decades, Umbria Jazz has been organized during the month of July. During this jazz festival in Perugia, several artists take the stage. From solo artists to groups, great shows await you for almost an entire week. Are you a music lover? Then it is definitely worth seeing if you can combine your vacation with a visit to the festival.
Water sports and adventure at Lake Trasimeno
Just a short walk from this glamping site with luxury safari tents is Lake Trasimeno, the largest lake in central and southern Italy. In addition to relaxing on the beach, building sandcastles, or taking a dip in the water, you are also in the right place for various water sports. Windsurfing, water skiing, canoeing, and sailing, it's all possible! From the glamping, they organize different activities like boat trips or even a boat race, but you can also go on your own adventure. Go by boat to Maggiore Island where a number of restaurants can be found, or spend a day sailing around the lake. It's hard to sit still when you're vacationing at this beautiful Italian lake!

Summary created out of 264 reviews
The campsite is run by three warm-hearted sisters who welcome guests with genuine hospitality and personal care. Its location directly on Lake Trasimeno is beautiful and peaceful, offering lovely views and serving as an ideal base for exploring cities like Perugia and Assisi. The pool and entertainment are appreciated, especially by families with children. However, many note maintenance issues: sanitary facilities and accommodations are dated, there are many insects (particularly mosquitoes), and parts of the campsite and lake itself appear neglected.

A very nice campground perfect for biking; if you get hot, there are swimming pools, and you can reserve a barbecue with a lake view. In the evening, there's a kids' dance party until midnight.

We spent the last week of August with our family. It was a wonderful experience. We stayed in a mobile home along one of the roads leading to the lake. The genuine kindness of the management and the entertainment staff, along with the various activities available (swimming pools, playgrounds, bike rentals, etc.), made our stay truly enjoyable. The … location is also ideal for visiting other culturally significant sites in nearby Tuscany. Thank you so much.

Not recommended: neglected grounds and a dirty bungalow. An experience to forget.
I stayed at this campground for a week with my family (14 people), drawn by the excellent reviews that promised relaxation and activities. Unfortunately, the reality turned out to be a huge disappointment.
The property is completely neglected: tall … grass, a tiny pool, and a green lake that doesn’t make you want to go in. Although numerous options are advertised, there is literally nothing to do at the campground: the canoe rental hasn’t been operational for years, the adventure park is left to rot amid the tall grass, and neither the beach volleyball court nor the “little beach” touted in the descriptions actually exist. To keep from dying of boredom, we had to come up with alternative itineraries outside the campground every day, completely undermining the idea of a relaxing vacation.
The most distressing issue was the bungalow’s hygiene: in the bathroom, the shower curtain was covered in mold; the shower tray was sloped incorrectly (with the drain at the highest point), which caused dirty water from previous use to constantly pool. Furthermore, upon our arrival, the air conditioner was so dirty that we had to clean it ourselves in order to use it.
The only positive aspect was the staff, who were always helpful and courteous, but this isn’t enough to make up for the serious lack of amenities and poor cleanliness. We returned home more stressed than when we left. I absolutely do not recommend it.this is a translation, click here for the original
Sconsigliato: struttura trascurata e bungalow sporco.
