Campeggio del Garda is located directly on Lake Garda, within walking distance of Peschiera del Garda's town centre. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, the central location, and the clean accommodations. The swimming pool with children's animation is a major highlight, as are the restaurant serving good pizzas and the convenient on-site shop. An important point of attention is the very loud music from animation programmes (until 11 PM), both on the campsite itself and from neighbouring campsites, which can disturb the peace.

    I’m really disappointed with this campground. The staff was consistently very unfriendly and treated us condescendingly from the very beginning. It was especially disrespectful when we checked out—all we got was a curt “you can go,” without any politeness at all.

    Overall, we felt like we weren’t welcome here at all as guests. Especially as younger people, you’re obviously not taken seriously here.

    I’ve never had an experience like this before. I would definitely not recommend this campground, especially to young travelers.

    Ich bin wirklich enttäuscht von diesem Campingplatz. Das Personal war durchgehend sehr unfreundlich und hat uns von Anfang an von oben herab behandelt. Besonders beim Auschecken war es einfach nur respektlos – es kam lediglich ein knappes „you can go“, ohne jede Höflichkeit.

    Insgesamt hatten wir das Gefühl, hier als Gäste überhaupt nicht willkommen zu sein. Gerade als jüngere Personen wird man hier offensichtlich nicht ernst genommen.

    So eine Erfahrung habe ich bisher noch nie gemacht. Ich würde diesen Campingplatz vor allem jungen Reisenden auf keinen Fall empfehlen.

    - We rented a campsite; there’s a power outage about once an hour along the entire row
    - There aren’t enough showers and restrooms for the number of visitors; during peak times, you have to wait in line, and the cleanliness also leaves something to be desired. They’re only “cleaned”—if you can call it that—once in the morning and once in the evening.
    There are no soap dispensers in any of the restrooms.
    The restaurant’s prices are okay, but the food isn’t.
    The kiosk has everything you need, but the prices are a bit high.
    The pool is pretty good, but kids aren’t allowed to play with a ball there; the pool on the opposite side requires a fee.
    Due to the coarse gravel and stones, the beach is only recommended with water shoes, but there’s a good bar there.

    All in all, the campground isn’t worth 3 stars when compared to the other campgrounds in the immediate vicinity.

    - Wir haben einen Stellplatz gemietet, ca 1 x pro Stunde ist auf der ganzen Reihe Stromausfall
    - die Duschen und WCs sind für die Menge an Besuchern zu wenig, zu Stosszeiten muss man Anstehen zudem lässt die Sauberkeit auch zu wünschen übrig. Es wird nur am Morgen und am Abend 1 x Geputzt wenn man es so nennen kann.
    Es gibt nirgends Seifenspender in den WC.
    Das Restaurant Preislich Ok aber das Essen nicht.
    Kiosk hat alles was man braucht aber Preislich leicht drüber.
    Pool ist ganz gut kinder dürfen dort aber nicht mit dem Ball spielen, der Pool auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite ist Kostenpflichtig.
    Strand ist durch den Groben Kies und Steinen nur mit Badeschuhen zu empfehlen aber es hat eine gute Bar dort.

    Alles in allem ist der Platz keine 3 Sterne wert vergleicht man diesen mit den anderen Plätzen direkt in der Nähe.
