Summary created out of 269 reviews

Park 473 is located directly on Lake Garda and within walking distance of Gardaland, which guests greatly appreciate. The location and friendly staff are frequently praised. At the same time, many visitors express disappointment about the new ownership: prices have doubled or even tripled without visible improvements. The sanitary facilities are outdated, often lacking toilet paper, and security is a concern due to multiple reports of bicycle thefts. Once a beloved family campsite, the park now feels overpriced and less welcoming to many.

Stayed there for 5 days in a camper. Site right on the lake. Clean restrooms; the restaurant was very good. The small market was a bit overpriced. Great for bike rides around Lake Garda. The campground is relatively expensive.

War 5 Tage mit dem Camper da. Platz direkt am See. Sanitäranlagen sauber, Restaurant sehr gut. Kleiner Markt etwas überteuert. Gut geeignet für Fahrradtouren am Gardasee. Platz ist verhältnismässig teuer.

Mixed review: disappointing value for the money (“PARADISE PLUS” site)

We stayed there for 14 nights. While the setting has its merits, the level of service doesn’t justify the rates charged

    Pros:
    - Quiet campground with well-maintained green spaces
    - Right on the lake (shores are somewhat undeveloped and muddy for swimming, but great for walking)
    - Close to Peschiera del Garda, a beautiful town worth visiting
    - Friendly staff who make an effort to communicate in English by speaking more slowly (unfortunately, not all of them do)

    Cons:
    - Facilities and restrooms: We had to change our spot upon arrival because the electrical outlets were too far away (plan on 35 to 40 m of cable). The restrooms, though clean, are outdated and could really use a renovation
    - Pool: Inconsistent rules (swim caps required, but shoes allowed in the water; eating and drinking permitted at the poolside) and paid lounge chairs (€4 to €12 per day)
    - Entertainment: Very limited program; the entertainment team clearly lacks resources
    - Food: Overpriced takeout fries for the amount served (€6 per serving, see photo). Pizzas are just okay: you’re better off driving the 5 minutes to Peschiera—they’re much better there
    - Very high additional fees: Over 300 € in taxes for 14 days, including 160 € in “environmental tax” (is this specific to the campground or a government requirement?) and 140 € in tourist tax

In summary: We’d love to return to the Lake Garda region, but definitely not to this campground

We’ve been guests at this campground for years—it’s well-known for its excellent location and proximity to Gardaland. Unfortunately, this year’s experience was terrible. The campsites were half-empty during the week leading up to Ferragosto, but filled up with seasonal guests and foreigners who often ignored the rules. There was no supervision, especially in the evenings; the campsites were bumpy and never cleaned, and some were dark due to poor lighting. Cars, scooters, and kick scooters constantly drove through the aisles at high speeds, kicking up clouds of dust while we were having dinner. They raised their prices to match the area’s rates but didn’t improve the quality of service. They had assigned us a spot, and when we asked, they pointed out others—but there were many better ones available given how sparsely populated the campground was. The market was well-stocked, and the ladies were very kind. We’ll definitely look for other options.

Market fornito e signore gentilissime. Sicuramente troveremo altre alternative
