We stayed 6 nights in this pleasantly chaotic “town” during the day… It’s a great campground, with a fantastic view and location; the mobile homes (where we stayed) are new and clean, and there are two pools, one of which is huge and beautiful… We’d already been there two years ago and we’ll definitely be back… a couple of downsides, though: the Germans, who are arrogant and rude; the TV in the cabin is only in German; and the kids’ entertainment is only in German… we’re in Italy, and Italians should come first! Someone might say that the Germans are tourists… that’s true, but having been in the industry for over 20 years, covering the area between Versilia and Lazio, we deal with them too—but they always come second and should speak at least a little Italian…And they always come back the following years… They should be taught the rules too, but those in charge—including the lifeguards at the pools—pretend not to see; one lifeguard was even sleeping behind his sunglasses…I had a medical emergency; I went to the front desk to let them know that a private nurse was on her way, but an elderly woman told me that when she arrived, she’d have to check in—not bring her own cart with the necessary equipment—and that I’d have to go pick her up with the cart myself…I believe that medical emergencies shouldn’t be hindered by bureaucratic red tape… and maybe a few more smiles from the entire staff wouldn’t hurt…

Our campsite itself was good, but unfortunately, the campground as a whole didn’t impress us.

If you value clean showers and restrooms, you should look for another spot. The shower walls looked as if they hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a long time—there were many stains visible, and overall, the restroom area didn’t give the impression of being clean. The washhouses definitely need renovations.

In addition, some of the shower fixtures were damaged and could use replacement. It would also be a good idea to install soap dispensers at the sinks outside the restroom facilities, as this would significantly improve hygiene.
