We had an altercation with the owner who Threatend my kids to kick them to death because they were just playing in a field next to the restaurant. Just because he wanted some peace and quiet while eating his food (which was possible if he stayed inside where he was before)
There was no possibility to respectfully argue with him cause he has anger issues. -

Simple SVR campground; be sure to follow the rules and look for shaded spots. Few amenities. Wi-Fi available at the reception desk. Otherwise, poor 4G/5G coverage. Beautiful river where you can swim. There is no playground, though this is indicated on the site. There are no dining facilities, though this is noted on the site. The only exceptions are a bread delivery service and ice cream.

Simpele SVR camping, let op de regeltjes, let op de schaduw. Weinig voorzieningen. Wifi bij receptie. Verder slecht bereik 4/5g. Mooie rivier, waarin gezwommen kan worden. Er is geen speeltuin, staat wel aangegeven op site. Er zijn geen eet faciliteiten, staat wel aangegeven op site. Behalve dan een broodservice en ijsje.

We camped here for 17 days and had a wonderful time. The campground is quiet, very clean, and well-maintained. The owner, his children, and the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and hospitable.
We had a wonderfully spacious, shaded campsite, which was a real plus during the hot days. Every morning you can order fresh rolls, and throughout the day you can enjoy delicious ice cream and a drink. The campground is right on the river, where you can relax or cool off. Our dog also had a great time here and felt completely at ease.
It’s a perfect base for exploring the Müllerthal, Vianden, Echternach, and the rest of Luxembourg. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.this is a translation, click here for the original
Wij hebben hier 17 dagen gekampeerd en het uitstekend naar ons zin gehad. De camping is rustig, heel schoon en goed onderhouden. De eigenaar, zijn kinderen en het personeel zijn ontzettend vriendelijk, behulpzaam en gastvrij.
Wij hadden een heerlijk ruime, schaduwrijke kampeerplaats, wat tijdens de warme dagen echt een groot pluspunt was. Elke ochtend kun je verse broodjes bestellen, en gedurend de dag lekker ijsjes en een dranke. De camping ligt direct aan de rivier, waar je heerlijk kunt ontspannen of afkoelen. Onze hond heeft zich hier ook uitstekend vermaakt en voelde zich helemaal op haar gemak.
Het is een perfecte uitvalsbasis om het Müllerthal, Vianden, Echternach en de rest van Luxemburg te ontdekken. Wij hebben genoten en komen zeker nog eens terug -

We spent a midweek stay in a pod. It’s basic but really nice! The bathrooms are clean and the staff is friendly. The kids (ages 5 and 7) spent the whole week fishing, swimming, and playing in the river—and they had a blast! I definitely recommend going there!
