The peace and quiet and the waterfront location are wonderful! The restaurant is closed, and the owner is hard at work tearing down the chalets. Because of that, it feels a bit deserted... If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is great. If you want a few more amenities and a warmer atmosphere, I’d recommend coming back later when the … campground is more up and running. The restrooms are excellent! The old owner is grumpy and unfriendly, but his son is helpful and speaks many languages.

Sanitair is uitstekend!

Camped on a spacious site by the little river, with neighbors nearby.
The showers are very basic; there’s a small space to hang your clothes, and there’s nowhere to put your toiletry bag. Just a few hooks to hang your clothes on. No shelf or rack available. You really have to make do.
The restaurant and snack bar were already closed as of … August 24—this isn’t mentioned on the website.
The Cactus Marnach supermarket is 12 kilometers from the campground. And there are barking dogs every now and then at night, but hey, we knew dogs were allowed.

The spot by the river was very beautiful. The restrooms were in good condition and clean. The atmosphere at the campground wasn't pleasant. Radios blaring, guests talking loudly on the phone, guests arguing. The patio was uninviting and inaccessible. The older owner was very gruff and unfriendly. His son, on the other hand, was more approachable. … After a week, we’d had more than enough, so we left early. Maybe we just had bad luck with the guests around us. But the owners’ demeanor, too…No, not for us again.

Good value for the price. The young man told the woman, “You’re too early,” but let us in anyway.
