Very nice CP directly on the banks of the Our. Everything you need for supply and disposal is available here. There is a bread roll service and a small supermarket, as well as a small café and a restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are very clean and tidy. You can start walks and hikes directly from the campsite. There is also plenty to keep children occupied.

Stayed here with our two sons (16/19) and dog for just under a week. The cottages are not large, but very smartly furnished! What immediately struck us was how clean it was everywhere! The cottage was spotlessly clean, the kitchen practical, with decent pots/pans/plates.... We had hoped for a real microwave oven with hot air function, but unfortunately it was only a microwave with grill. That was quite a disappointment. The bedrooms are not that big, the mattress of the bunk bed was also a bit disappointing, too hard. Probably more calculated for a young child instead of a 19 year old. Big plus was definitely the 2nd toilet! We also enjoyed the smart TV and the pleasant ceiling heating when it cooled down in the evening. Our dog really liked the treats, also a huge plus were the many buckets in the park to deposit poop bags in. That way you keep it much and much cleaner of course. The sons thought the small gym was a plus. It was also nice that they always had it just for them. The Komoot hike that starts at the park, over the little bridge is also highly recommended. Perhaps another recommendation: when booking with a dog, ask if the dog will tolerate other dogs in the vicinity. An indication of breed or size of dog might also be desired. We had 2 couples with a large dog next door and our dog was a bit afraid of them. The bark of that dog was then impressively loud. We often go on vacation to France, and there those questions are quite normal. Certain breeds are not allowed there either, as is leaving the dog alone in the accommodation for much of the day. If you go hiking: be sure to look up from time to time, we were able to admire a beautiful spectacle of a bird of prey.

First of all, the positive aspects: The staff is always friendly and customer-oriented, but the reception is not staffed for very long. Especially if you need a little something after a long day on tour or have questions, there is no one on site after 7 pm. As there is nothing else in the area apart from a restaurant, this is not ideal, but everyone is allowed to go home after work. Perhaps a few vending machines wouldn't be a bad idea in this case. The apartment cubes are nice in principle, appropriately furnished with everything you need. However, the beds are very small and super soft, of course you can't please everyone and you probably have to be flexible, but even my narrow girlfriend didn't have enough space and almost fell out of bed once😅. The hot water boiler is very small at 60 liters. If you wash up by hand and then 4 people shower, it can be that the last person has to wait for hours, as happened on the first evening. The location is a bit remote, you don't have to try to get far on foot unless you are a real hiker or go to the nearest bus stop (public transport is fortunately free for everyone at all times). But all in all recommendable if you like it quiet. No sources of noise, no party people turning night into day (at least not for us). And pleasantly located by a stream, the path to the forest is only a few meters away.
