Mobile home O'Hara Living - 5 persons

There is a lot of noise, because they decided in high season to do construction work on the camping now in July/august 2026. I think they will take two years to work on all the construction spots. There is this beautiful peaceful spot on the side at the nature but a few meters behind the trees they are building so the motorsaw drives us crazy, it's so loud. And on the other side close to the glamping tents they are working with cranes.

If they wouldnt have such bad timing for construction it would be a beautiful place with gorgeous nature nearby. It is a bit packed so you can be unlucky with the neighbours but it has a nice atmosphere.

Great campground, nice spacious sites, plenty of shade and privacy. It’s just a shame about the showers, which had a really weak water pressure, and the very poor Wi-Fi. It was supposed to be available only near the restroom buildings, but even there it was barely accessible. 4G and 5G coverage in and around the campground wasn’t very good either.
There is, however, a nice, large playground for the kids.

- The restrooms are the dirtiest I’ve ever seen at a campground. For that reason alone, I’m deducting 2 stars. A toilet with brown smudges once in a while is acceptable if the previous user didn’t leave it clean. However, these restroom buildings are so old that they can no longer be kept clean. All the particleboard partitions are weathered, all the hardware is rusting, and many tiles are broken. In addition, there were hundreds of sewer flies in the restroom building where we were staying. If you do a quick Google search, you’ll see that these are major carriers of bacteria. If this campground were to be inspected, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were shut down because of this. I tried another restroom building once. Just as old, but I didn’t see any sewer flies there.
-I’ve never had to wear flip-flops in the shower before, but I did here. Also, the water pressure is minimal if you’re not the only one showering. The only positive is that the water temperature is just right—that’s not the case everywhere.
-There’s no security or supervision at the campground. We had neighbors who produced a huge amount of smoke from a campfire in a spot where it wasn’t allowed. They owned a fighting dog, so we didn’t dare say anything to them. Loud music can also be played without any issues.
-When the restrooms are cleaned around 7:00 a.m., the entire building is closed off. Not just 3 showers or 3 toilets, but the whole place. This is not customer-friendly.
-The campsites aren’t inspected. Ours didn’t have a single blade of grass, so after a rain shower, it was just mud. There are old tent stakes that people leave in the ground because of the hard clay, so the risk of flat tires is very high.

So you have to be lucky with your neighbors, and it’s an advantage if you have your own bathroom facilities. In that case, this campground is definitely recommended.
