Mobile home O'Hara Living - 5 persons

We stayed at this campground for 3 nights. Upon arrival, we were assigned a spot for our tent that was in full sun all day. We asked if there was an alternative. The staff immediately tried to find another spot, but unfortunately everything was fully booked. We appreciate that, because they really did their best.

Unfortunately, the rest of our stay was disappointing. Several restrooms were out of order, and the ones that were open barely flushed. The shower I used didn’t work properly either; only a few small streams of water came out. In the end, we even ended up showering at a nearby campground where friends were staying.

The Belle Vue campground looks very outdated (bathrooms) and appears to be poorly maintained. It’s a shame, because if the bathrooms were in better condition, the experience could have been very different. For us, this was not a pleasant stay, and that’s why we won’t be returning.

A wonderful place to relax. There are many hiking trails you can explore from here. Just need to clean the showerheads—water is spraying from all directions except straight ahead.

Tent Pitch with Car

+The Site was quite busy but never felt crowded. The pitch itself was large and easily fit our larger 3 man tent, Car, Table and had enough space that we could have a fire a safe distance away. The utilities where close by and the toilets and shower block were spacious and clean. It was also a bonus to be able to choose our pitch when booking (You have to be in the fire zone to have one).
+ Short Walk (3 mins) the Mullerthal trails and to some of the main views.

- Only negative is that the ground was extreamly dry dirt that barley took the pegs. We also had towork around large tree routes. ( Obviously there to enjoy nature and whats more natural than a tree so we managed and are not too fussed)

We stayed at the campground for two nights in June to go hiking in the Müllerthal. We were given a very warm welcome, and our dogs were welcome. The campsite was spacious and easy to maneuver around. The fact that the hiking trails are within walking distance is, of course, a big plus. The bread roll service was also excellent—everything was really fresh and delicious.
We have nothing negative to say about the restroom facilities. They’re a bit older, but everything was clean and in working order during our stay.
A trash can at the back exit leading to the fields would definitely be great—other dog owners had stacked their bags on a barrel there. Of course, the campground can’t be held responsible for that. But perhaps it’s a suggestion to set up a trash bin.
In any case, we’d love to come back.
