Hidden in the green, terraced hills near the village of Nommern, and right next to a beautiful forest, it’s the perfect base for an outdoor holiday in Luxembourg.

The tent lodge is comfortably and practically furnished, so you can travel light. In the cosy living area you’ll find an open kitchen with a fridge, freezer and hob – ideal for easy breakfasts, picnic lunches or a simple dinner after a day out. With three bedrooms, there’s plenty of space for up to 5 people. Two bedrooms offer two single beds that you can place together as a double, and the third bedroom has a single bed. Perfect for families or a small group of friends.

Here you get the authentic camping feeling: waking up to birdsong, drinking your first coffee in the fresh morning air and enjoying long evenings outside. The tent doesn’t have its own bathroom, so you use the central sanitary facilities on the campsite. These are a short walk away and well maintained, so you can shower comfortably and freshen up whenever you like.

Outside, the covered terrace with garden furniture is where you’ll probably spend most of your time. Read a book, play a game, have a drink or just relax and listen to the sounds of nature around you. There’s a parking space for one car near the tent lodge, so you never have to carry your luggage far.

Camping Nommerlayen lies in a lush, water-rich, hilly landscape about 30 km north of Luxembourg City. From here you can explore forests, rock formations and charming villages, or plan a day trip to the capital for culture, shopping and good food. On the campsite itself you’ll find various safari tents and tent lodges for five people, some even with private sanitary facilities.
