If you are looking for peace and relaxation, a nice hike or bike ride, you will find it at a 40-minute drive from the campsite in National Park Dwingelderveld. The area has an extensive network of trails and paths and offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy the beautiful nature. Wildlands Zoo Emmen
Are you looking for a unique combination of attractions and animals? Then discover Wildlands Zoo, a 17-minute drive from the campsite. The park is divided into different areas, with each area having a different theme with different animal species and attractions. For example, you can take a boat trip through the jungle, where you can see wild animals and experience an impressive waterfall. In the savanna area, you can take a safari tour and see giraffes, zebras and rhinos up close. The indoor area features an aquarium and a butterfly garden. Besides the animals, Wildlands Adventure Zoo also has several attractions, such as roller coasters and a climbing course. The Vincent van Gogh House
In 1853, Vincent van Gogh was born in a house in Zundert. Today this house is a museum, which you will find an 8-minute drive from the campsite. Walk through the house where Van Gogh grew up and learn about his early years and the influences that shaped his artistic vision. The museum also features a collection of Van Gogh's artwork and personal effects, such as letters and sketches. There are also temporary exhibitions throughout the year. Prima kleinschalige camping, wij stonden op het familie veld, helaas was het weer iets minder maar dat heeft de sfeer niet verpest, restaurant is oke wel kouder bij de grote raampartij, sanitair is schoon en oké maar kan een upgrade wel gebruiken vooral douches en toiletten, qua stroom op de veldjes heeft dit echt wel aandacht nodig, diverse keren viel de stroom uit en moest het weer erop worden gezet, koelkast kon alleen maar op gas worden gekoeld ivm de lage spanning zelfs een klein camping koffie apparaatje ging met pijn en moeite pruttelen! Kortom leuke kleine nette camping waar op sommige punten wat meer aandacht aan moet worden gegeven

Bij aankomst heel vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaresse. Twee coupons voor een welkoms drankje. We stonden met de caravan op het eerste veld. Sanitair is niet wat wij gewend zijn. Redelijk oud en het was niet altijd schoon. Soms waren alle toiletten vuil. In de ochtend was alles netjes schoon. Helaas hebben wij meermaals last gehad van stroomuitval op ons veld. Zeker in de avond na 3 keer wel wat vervelend ivm koken en kou. Al met al een prima weekend gehad maar voor ons persoonlijk iets te simpel en oud qua sanitair gelegenheden.

Alles eigentlich ganz schön, aber die duschen müssten mal erneuert werden. Sonst ein schöner Park. Wasser ist nicht am Platz, aber immer innerhalb ca. 50m zu bekommen und kein WLAN. Handy Empfang war aber ganz gut. Meine Kids haben sich nicht beschwert. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön aber keine Preise zu finden (auf der Getränke Karte zumindest nicht). Es gibt einen beheizten pool und sonst auch schöne Spielplätze. Mann merkt aber das die Besitzer sich mühe gegeben haben und es immernoch tuhen. Es wird sich gut um einen gekümmert! Sehr freundlich. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Wij hebben zojuist een paar dagen door gebracht op deze hele mooie en rustige camping. Onze dames hebben zich heerlijk vermaakt (en wij dan dus ook). Aller eerst dikke punten voor de douche! Zo'n fijne en warme douche hebben wij nog nooit eerder gehad. Wij werden warm ontvangen en doorverwezen naar het familieveld (daar was nog plek), heel netjes. Een mooi groot veld met leuke speeltuin. Echter ervaarden wij ook wat min punten. Het chemisch toilet zat elke keer verstopt. Wat wij erg jammer vonden was dat als je een ijsje, iets te drinken of eten wilde halen je de eigenaar moest bellen anders was alles dicht. Niet heel gezellig. En op de laatste dag waren de eigenaren (tenminste dat denken we) terug. Deze mensen vonden wij helaas alles behalve aardig. Er kon geen vriendelijke hoi of goede reis terug vanaf, terwijl de beste man bij ons op het veld aanwezig was. Ook als je vertrekt vinden wij dat wel op z'n plaats. We hebben heerlijke dagen gehad, maar voor ons geen tweede keer meer helaas.
