A really fun campground for kids! Our kids (ages 8, 6, and 2) had a great time. They spent the whole day outside on the go-karts, visiting the animals, and the “HooiHooi” play area was a huge hit. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The petting horses (Shetland ponies) were a nice idea, but the execution was a bit disappointing. They’re very headstrong and feisty. I think if you have more experience with them and really enjoy them, it might go better. We especially enjoyed the sweet donkeys and goats ;-) When we arrived, the campground was very crowded—lots of kids enjoying their freedom, but perhaps with a bit too little supervision from their parents. The restrooms were very dirty; kids were playing with the faucets and the water pump, and there was a lot of screaming and shouting until well past 10 p.m. We were also parked in a central spot (site 11)—maybe if you go further back, it’s less of an issue. Groups are welcome at the campground; they were camped behind us and caused a lot of noise until around midnight. Luckily for us, a large portion of the campers left quickly because the school vacation in the northern part of the Netherlands was coming to an end. As a result, we were then able to enjoy clean restrooms, well-rested children, and a bit more peace and quiet at the campground itself. It’s clear that the owners really do their best and enjoy what they do. We’d love to come back to this lovely spot! But probably not during peak season ;-)

A really lovely farm campground. Lots of different animals, and the kids can have a blast helping with feeding and other chores.
Beautiful, spacious sites and friendly staff. A nice restaurant and terrace, plus a delivery service right to your tent. Plenty of showers and restrooms that are cleaned every day. There’s also a very pretty little lake in the woods within walking distance where you can cool off.
In short, a great place to stay—we’ve already booked a spot for next year.

We really enjoyed our weekend at this campground. There’s a very relaxed atmosphere. Children playing, pastures with animals. The staff was very friendly. We ordered food through the delivery service, and it was brought right to our trailer. We’ll definitely be back!

A wonderful campground! Very peaceful, with spacious campsites. Very friendly hosts, Martijn and Naduah. They’re happy to help.

Our kids had a blast. We barely saw them during the vacation. All the paid activities are fun and highly recommended!
The kids are given plenty of freedom.

Bosmeer is within walking distance, where you can enjoy a great swim. Dogs are allowed there, as is stand-up paddleboarding. If you’d prefer to swim without dogs, Loomeer is within biking distance. There’s also a snack bar and restrooms there.

They try to keep the restroom facilities clean, cleaning them several times a day. However, due to crowds or staff shortages, cleaning may be less frequent. But they’re usually very clean! That’s because they also run a nice pavilion located on the campground.

There are lots of animals everywhere! They’re well cared for.

And you can use go-karts and other vehicles everywhere.

Our girls could be found in the hayloft with other kids every day.

My parents, who came for a few days in their RV, were also very impressed with the campground. They said it was quiet, even with so many children around.

We had the pleasure of spending four days at this beautiful campground with our rooftop tent, inflatable tent, and our three children.

The campground is simply beautiful and highly recommended, especially for families with young children. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, and the lake right next door is simply wonderful—perfect for swimming, playing, and relaxing.

We felt very comfortable there and would wholeheartedly recommend the campground. We’d love to come back!
