Inside, you’ll find a bright living area with a Smart TV – perfect for a lazy movie night or streaming your favourite series after a day outside. The open kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, fridge-freezer and pad coffee machine, so cooking together is easy and your morning coffee is always ready. With three bedrooms, including one with a fun bunk bed, everyone has their own comfy spot to recharge.

Slide open the door and step onto your private terrace, surrounded by greenery. Enjoy long breakfasts in the fresh air, a chilled afternoon drink, or an easy dinner outdoors while you catch up and make plans for the next day.

Bringing pets? Hunzepark 13 is pet-friendly, so your four-legged friends can join the adventure. The area is full of nature trails and quiet paths where you can walk for hours. Take a relaxed stroll along the Hunze River or head into the Hondsrug UNESCO Global Geopark for beautiful landscapes and wide-open views.

On warm days, you can cool off in the outdoor swimming pool at the park (open from May to mid-September). Fancy more water fun? The subtropical indoor swimming paradise at Hunzedal is only about 15 minutes away by car – great for a fun day out, whatever the weather.

The chalet is located in peaceful Gasselternijveen, a perfect base to explore Drenthe. Within a short drive you’ll find charming villages, cosy cafés and restaurants serving hearty Dutch dishes and local specialities. After a day of exploring, it’s great to come back to your own comfortable hideaway in the green.
