Looking for a relaxed glamping spot with your crew? This cosy tent lodge at Hunzepark is made for easy-going group getaways. Hidden between the trees in a green holiday park, it gives you the fun of camping with the comfort of a holiday home.

Everything is on the ground floor, so you can just drop your bags and start chilling. In the living area you’ll find a comfy seating corner with a TV and electric heating – perfect for movie nights after a day outside. The open-plan kitchen is simple but practical, with a gas cooker, fridge with freezer, electric kettle and coffee pad machine, so you can start the day with a fresh coffee and end it with late-night snacks.

The lodge sleeps up to six people, ideal for a group of friends or a small crew travelling together. There’s one bedroom with two single beds and two bedrooms with bunk beds – no fighting over space, just decide who gets the top bunks. The bathroom is modern and practical, with a walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet, so you don’t have to walk across the park in the dark like on a basic campsite.

Outside, the vibe is pure relaxation. Chill on the veranda, enjoy drinks on the furnished terrace, or just hang out in the garden area and plan tomorrow’s adventures. Because you’re on a lively holiday park, you also get access to shared facilities: take a dip in the swimming pool, cast a line in the fishing water, or walk about 100 metres to the water for watersports fun.

Hungry or need supplies? Within walking distance you’ll find a restaurant, bike rental and general facilities on the park. Rent bikes and explore the Drenthe countryside with its forests, lakes and typical villages, or discover some of the region’s cultural spots.
