El Placer also offers an array of liqueurs, grappa and seasonal verjuice to delight your taste buds. As a wine lover, you will be enchanted by the workshops and tastings that Johan and Lidwien are happy to share with you. Come enjoy the artisanal beauty and delicious flavors of El Placer, where the love for organic wine production can be tasted in every glass.

    We’re staying at the Buytenplaets Suydersee CC 50778 city campground. We’ve been coming to Lelystad for years and never knew there was a city campground here.
    We opted for the paved RV sites, but there are also open areas where you can park. The campground is nicely laid out in a green setting with plenty of restroom facilities and… a washer and dryer 😀. Scattered here and there are cute hiker’s cabins, pods, a boat with a sewer pipe you can sit in, a large wigwam, a gypsy wagon, and there are permanent residents with year-round spots who have their own mobile homes. There’s even a covered area with seating and tables, complete with a kitchen you’re welcome to use—gas stoves and pots are provided too. A sign reminds you to wash the dishes after use 🤔
    The campground isn’t very large but is laid out in a very cozy way. By bike, you can reach one of the shopping centers in just a few minutes.
    Cycling in and around Lelystad is no problem at all, thanks to all those wonderful bike paths and routes.
    All in all, we’re really enjoying it so far and plan to stay for another week.
    A tip for the owner: guests are expected to sort their trash, but then the trash bins do need to be emptied 🤔.

    We staan op de stadscamping Buytenplaets Suydersee CC 50778. wij komen al jaren in Lelystad en nooit geweten dat hier een stadscamping is.
    Wij hebben gekozen voor de verharde camperplaatsen maar er zijn ook veldjes waar je mag staan. De camping is leuk opgezet in het groen met voldoende sanitair en… een wasmachine en droger 😀. Her en der verspreid staan er leuke trekkershutjes, Pods, een boot met een rioolbuis waar je in kunt zitten, grote wigwam, pipowagen en er zijn vaste bewoners met een jaarplaats die een eigen stacaravan hebben. Er is zelfs een overkapping met zitjes en tafels met een keuken die je mag gebruiken, gasfornuizen en pannen zijn er ook, na gebruik afwassen staat er op een bordje 🤔
    De camping is niet heel groot maar erg gezellig ingedeeld. Met de fiets ben je in een paar minuten in één van de winkelcentra.
    Fietsen is in en rondom Lelystad geen probleem met al die schitterende fietspaden en routes.
    Al met al bevalt het tot nu toe prima en blijven een weekje staan.
    Tip voor de eigenaar, er wordt verwacht om afval gescheiden weg te gooien, maar dan moeten de afvalbakken wel leeggemaakt worden 🤔.

    The dirtiest room I've ever seen. We rented a gypsy wagon for one night, but we only stayed there for two minutes. It was basically a half-finished construction trailer covered in mold and cobwebs. SERIOUSLY, DON'T DO IT. See the photos.

    Nice city campground, nice pitches. Nice "messy." Very child friendly. Swimming pool and indoor playground just outside the campground. We had a spot with private bathroom. Basic, neat and clean. Several funny rental accommodations like tree house, ship, gypsy wagon, hiker's hut etc. Covered cooking and sitting area.

    Very relaxed relaxed atmosphere where evening quiet is also maintained. Plumbing not very clean. And halfway through our stay, we ran out of shower coins. There was no alternative, e.g. also could not shower with cold water. There was just no option. Eventually we got some tokens so that was neat. Still, I find a campground struggling with a shower tokens shortage very inconvenient.

    Hele relaxte ontspannen sfeer waarbij ‘s avonds rust ook gehandhaafd wordt. Sanitair niet echt schoon. En halverwege ons verblijf waren de douchemuntjes op. Er was geen alternatief, kon bijv. Ook niet douchen met koud water. Er was gewoon geen optie. Uiteindelijk hebben wij wat muntjes gekregen dus dat was wel netjes. Toch vind ik een camping wat kampt met een douchemuntjes tekort zeer onhandig.
