EuroParcs Zuiderzee boasts a beautiful location directly on the Veluwemeer, with convenient access to Elburg, Harderwijk and attractions like Walibi. The park offers spacious playgrounds, a large indoor play area and animation programmes that keep families with children entertained. However, the park faces significant challenges: the swimming pool is frequently described as ice-cold, dirty and outdated, cleaning of accommodations often falls short with dust, stains and mould, and there is considerable maintenance backlog affecting furniture, doors and technical installations. Staff reviews are mixed – some are friendly and helpful, others unfriendly or overwhelmed – and communication and customer service frequently disappoint, with guests being passed from pillar to post.

    The park—especially facilities like the restaurant and swimming pool—is really showing its age. The restaurant is dark and uninviting, and it’s closed two days a week, which is ridiculous. The beach area is extremely small for the number of visitors and is located right next to the campground. Some areas are poorly maintained, especially around the more affordable cottages. The park is in desperate need of a makeover!

    Der Park, vor allem die Einrichtungen wie Lokal und Schwimmbad sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das Restaurant ist dunkel und ungemütlich und hat an 2 Tagen geschlossen, was ein Unding ist. Der Strandbereich ist für die Menge des Publikums extrem klein und direkt am Campingplatz gelegen. Einige Bereiche sind ungepflegt, vor allem im Umfeld der preiswerteren Häuser. Der Prak braucht dringend eine Auffrischung!

    The accommodations are downright filthy: dirty cups, plates, glasses, and soup bowls in the cabinets; a thick layer of dust on the range hood; the coffee table is broken—it’s missing one of its three legs. All the walls are dirty. The couch is broken—you can only sit at the dining table. There’s a thick layer of ice in the freezer, and much more. … An email was sent to Europarcs as requested, but there has been no response.

    I’ll never come here again—I hope a lot of people read this.
    600 euros for 4 days is an outrageously high price for this accommodation.

    De accomodatie is ronduit smerig, vuile kopjes,borden, glazen, soepkommen in de kastjes, dikke laag stof op de afzuigkap, salontafel kapot mist 1 van de 3 poten. alle muren zijn vies. De bank is stuk je kan alleen aan de eettafel zitten. Dikke laag ijs in de vriezer en nog veel meer. Er is een mail verzonden naar europarcs zoals gevraagd waar niet op gereageerd wordt.

    Kom hier nooit meer hoop dat veel mensen dit lezen.
    600 euro voor 4 dagen is echt schandalig veel geld voor deze accommodatie.
