Summary created out of 277 reviews

EuroParcs Zuiderzee boasts a beautiful location directly on the Veluwemeer, with convenient access to Elburg, Harderwijk and attractions like Walibi. The park offers spacious playgrounds, a large indoor play area and animation programmes that keep families with children entertained. However, the park faces significant challenges: the swimming pool is frequently described as ice-cold, dirty and outdated, cleaning of accommodations often falls short with dust, stains and mould, and there is considerable maintenance backlog affecting furniture, doors and technical installations. Staff reviews are mixed – some are friendly and helpful, others unfriendly or overwhelmed – and communication and customer service frequently disappoint, with guests being passed from pillar to post.

In the photo, it looked like a really nice chalet.
But when we arrived, it turned out to be a musty, old place—it was really dirty.
The facilities—including the pool—weren’t clean either.
We were really disappointed; we were supposed to stay for 3 nights but left after just 1 night.

A very disappointing stay—absolutely not suitable for families with young children

We stayed at Walibi Village with our family and two very young children, but unfortunately, this was one of the worst vacation experiences we’ve ever had.
The biggest annoyance was the extreme noise pollution. Well into the night, groups of young people were shouting, partying, and making an enormous amount of noise. It was virtually impossible to sleep. With two young children, who especially need their rest, this was a complete disaster. Moreover, the cottages consist of four units under one roof, so you can literally hear everything your neighbors are doing. The soundproofing is downright poor, and every loud conversation, shout, or slamming door echoes through your own accommodation.
What makes it even worse is that there seems to be virtually no supervision to address this kind of disturbance. As a result, noisy groups have free rein, and families end up bearing the brunt of it.
The pool was also a disappointment. To our surprise, there was no lifeguard or other visible supervision present. That made us feel anything but safe, especially when you’re traveling with young children.
For families looking for a peaceful vacation, I absolutely cannot recommend Walibi Village. If you’re unlucky with your neighbors, you can forget about getting a good night’s sleep. It seems as though the park caters much more to groups of young people than to families.
We came to relax and make wonderful memories with our children. Instead, we went home exhausted from sleepless nights and a stay that was anything but restful. We’ll never go back.

Slapen was vrijwel onmogelijk.

We stayed at the campground for 4 nights with our trailer. I don’t even know where to start! -5 stars would be the minimum rating you should give. The restrooms were in such an unhygienic condition that we complained every day. I’ve never needed as much hand sanitizer while camping as I did there. The cleaning crew rushed through the restroom in 9 minutes; with a bit of luck, they might have restocked the toilet paper. The walls and doors were never cleaned. The ventilation shafts obviously hadn’t been cleaned this summer either. Youth groups were placed right in the middle of the “family campers.” There was no peace and quiet to speak of; the security guards, who finally showed up at some point, were still talking and laughing loudly—all at 11:30 p.m.
The facilities, such as the indoor playground and indoor hall, are really showing their age, and there’s a strong musty smell in the air. All in all, we were very dissatisfied and won’t be vacationing there again.

-5 Sterne wären das Minimum was man vergeben sollte.
