General information

The Accommodation This amazing 2-person Tiny House is suitable for two to snuggle up in! This Tiny House is brand new and has everything you need to feel right at home. The house has a double box spring bed, where upon arrival the bed is already made by us! In addition, the cottage has a bathroom and a living room with kitchen. The living room has air conditioning, flat screen TV, DVD player, radio with CD player and a terrace with furniture. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, oven-microwave, kettle and coffee maker. The Tiny House has magnificent views of the vacation park.

The Holiday Park The accommodations are located in the yard of a former farm. The sports fields (volleyball field, soccer field and tennis court) are free to use by everyone. There are also several exciting play equipment for small children. Especially popular are the go-karts and the play boat. In the yard there is also a covered area with various playground equipment.

Additional service: beer tap rental, catering, barbecue rental, outdoor activities.

Surroundings The small-scale vacation park is located on the border of Overijssel, Flevoland and Friesland. The park is located on the edge of the 1100-acre Kuinderbos, which is crisscrossed by many miles of hiking, biking and equestrian trails. The location of the vacation park offers ample opportunity for various tourist trips. A visit to one of the old Zuiderzee villages such as Lemmer, Blokzijl, Vollenhove and Urk is certainly worthwhile. The Frisian lakes and the forests of Gaasterland are also within a half-hour drive from the park.

In the Kop van Overijssel are the marshlands De Weerribben (national nature park) and the Wieden and a little above that is De Rottige Meenthe. Together, these areas form a large low moorland swamp created in the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries as a result of peat extraction. The area is largely open to the public. There is wonderful canoeing, biking and hiking. A visit to the visitor center in Sint Jansklooster or Ossenzijl is also worthwhile. Extra attention also deserves the town of Giethoorn. Giethoorn, with its many canals, bridges and lakes, has been called the Venice of the North.

Holiday park Eigen Wijze is a small-scale glamping in Flevoland with some beautiful safari tents by the water.     We had a lodge by the lake. Small but nice. Facilities ok, clean and in a quiet location. A paradise for children, playground, bouncy cushion and small indoor playground available. The highlight was the free canoes available to sail across the lake. We liked it very much and would love to come back.

    Wir hatten eine Lodge am See. Klein aber fein. Ausstattung ok, sauber und ruhig gelegen. Für Kinder ein Paradies, Spielplatz, Hüpfkissen und kleiner Indoorspielplatz vorhanden. Das Highlight waren die kostenlos verfügbaren Kanus um über den See zu schippern. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und kommen gerne wieder.

    We arrived and were told that our booking via Check24 was not there. Oh yes, it was there. We hadn't paid either. ?? Yes, via Check24! They didn't believe us, we were told to pay on the spot. We did - if necessary we'll get it back from Check24. Then we got the key to a house and went there. But a family was already inside! So we went back. No apology. "I'll come with you then". And oops, one house further on. The second time we walked there with all our luggage, the man at reception had both hands free and still didn't help. Still no apology. Dirty, small, no cupboard. Spartan and loveless furnishings. The stairs are super steep and dangerous for dogs and small children, but also not fun for adults to go to the toilet at night. The houses are very noisy! Absolutely inadequate price-performance ratio!!!

    Wir kamen an und es wurde behauptet, unsere Buchung über Check24 sei nicht da. Oh doch, da ist sie. Bezahlt hätten wir auch nicht. ?? Doch, über Check24! Wurde uns nicht geglaubt, wir sollten dann vor Ort bezahlen. Haben wir gemacht - zur Not holen wir es uns von Check24 zurück. Dann bekamen wir den Schlüssel zu einem Haus und gingen dahin. Eine Familie war aber schon drin! Wir also zurück. Keine Entschuldigung. "Dann komme ich Mal mit". Und ups, ein Haus weiter. Beim zweiten Mal hinlaufen mit allem Gepäck hatte der Mann vom Empfang beide Hände frei und trotzdem nicht geholfen. Immer noch keine Entschuldigung. Dreckig, klein, kein Schrank. Spartanisch und lieblos eingerichtet. Die Treppen sind super steil und für Hunde und Kleinkinder gefährlich, aber auch für Erwachsene für einen nächtlichen Toilettengang nicht lustig. Die Häuser sind sehr hellhörig! Absolut unangemessenes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!!!

    Visually a beautiful vacation home park. However, the fishermen's cottages are very spartanly furnished and have very steep stairs. There is a real risk of accidents here. The bedrooms are quite small. For me, the price-performance ratio was not balanced. I felt the price was too high for what was on offer. If you are traveling with children and/or dogs, you should know that the "farm dog" runs around freely and can bark at others or be pushy. There were children in our group who were scared and no longer dared to play outside on their own.

    Optisch ein schöner Ferienhaus-Park. Die Fischerhäuser sind allerdings sehr spartanisch eingerichtet und haben eine sehr steile Treppe. Hier besteht absolut Unfallgefahr. Die Schlafzimmer sind recht klein. Für mich war das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht ausgeglichen. Für das, was geboten wurde, empfinde ich den Preis zu hoch. Wer mit Kindern und /oder Hunden reist, sollte wissen, dass der "Hofhund" frei herumläuft und auch schon mal andere ankläfft bzw aufdringlich sein kann. In unserer Gruppe gab es Kinder, die Angst hatten und sich nicht mehr trauten, alleine draußen zu spielen.
