Just a 30-minute drive away is Lemmer, a charming harbor town on the IJsselmeer, known for its water sports, cozy terraces and historic Woudagemaal. A little further, 45 minutes away, you'll find Sneek, famous for its iconic Waterpoort, annual Sneekweek and bustling center full of stores and restaurants. Both cities offer a unique blend of Frisian culture, history and conviviality and are well worth a visit during your stay. Perfect to combine with each other.

Netl Camping Kallumaan is an expansive nature park with a unique, relaxed festival vibe that makes guests feel like they're on holiday instantly. The 100-hectare grounds offer plenty of space, adventure and creativity with beaches, a bamboo forest, obstacle course over the water, art installations and play options for all ages. The campsite balances peace with activity: children can play and explore endlessly, while adults enjoy live music, yoga sessions, paddle boarding and canoeing on clean swimming water. The friendly staff and good organization contribute to the laid-back, welcoming atmosphere, though some guests find the food service pricey and variable in quality, and mosquitoes and noise disturbance can occasionally be downsides.

    A really nice, kid-friendly campground. The kids can go on fun adventures all over the park; they discover something new every day. The little lake is also nice, and it’s great for stand-up paddleboarding! Even though the campground was pretty full, you don’t really notice it on the beach or during activities.
    The only downside, in my opinion, is the showers—the water pressure is weak and the temperature is inconsistent.
    Other than that, it’s a great place, and we’d definitely come back again.

    Hele leuke kindvriendelijke camping. De kinderen kunnen leuke avonturen beleven door het hele park heen, elke dag ontdekken ze weer iets nieuws. Het meertje is ook fijn en je kunt er leuk suppen! Ondanks dat het aardig vol stond op de camping merk je daar niet veel van op het strand of met activiteiten.
    Enige minpuntje vind ik de douches daar komt een zwakke straal uit en de temperatuur is wisselend.
    Verder een leuke plek waar we ook nog wel een keer terug komen
