Taste Wine From Our Own Country

Curious about the taste of Dutch wine? On the former seabed of the reclaimed Zuiderzee, you'll find Wijngoed Wilgenhorst. The first harvest took place at this Dutch vineyard in 2014, and it now boasts over 4,000 vines. And, of course, that's something you have to taste.

Regular guided tours take place, where winemaker Geert Horlings takes you through the vineyard and gives you a glimpse into the wine cellar, all while enjoying a good glass of wine. Holsterwold is not only a beautiful nature reserve with plenty to experience, but it is also one of the largest deciduous forests in the Netherlands. There are stunning hiking trails, and you can enjoy a bike ride through the area. Perhaps you'll spot some of the magnificent animals that inhabit the forest, such as fallow deer, foxes, or wild horses. In the Zevensprong play forest, children can play, climb, and even build huts.

    This resort feels pretty good except that there are too many mosquitoes. I would recommend putting more mosquito coils in the rooms. The items are all carefully chosen and feel quality, not like they have been skimped on. Overall, the experience is positive.

    Dit resort voelt best goed aan, behalve dat er te veel muggen zijn. Ik zou aanraden om meer muggenspiralen in de kamers te plaatsen. De spullen zijn allemaal zorgvuldig uitgekozen en voelen kwalitatief aan, niet alsof er op bezuinigd is. Over het algemeen is de ervaring positief.

    We arrived at the house and were shocked. The house was dirty, the towels were dirty, the pillowcase was stained. The chair in the room was broken, there was a lot of dust everywhere. It felt like no one had cleaned at all. We definitely won't come here next time.

    Super nice location and now with The Grillmates really great food! We also have two top events planned: December 29: Whisky & BBQ January 12: Wine & BBQ Book in time, because full is full!     We spent a few lovely days at Resort De Parel. One positive thing we noticed: + beautiful, modern interior + Kitchen with modern appliances + cordless handheld vacuum cleaner + top WLAN + wellness shower + well-kept park + friendly staff + bread roll service (pick up at reception) + sports area + idyllic location These little things could be improved from our point of view: - Cleanliness (dirty kitchen utensils, dead insects on the walls) - Small defects (pictures and hooks provisionally attached) - No possibility to tilt windows - No insect screens - Little privacy, use of the Jacuzzi can be seen by other guests - Faulty extractor hood and shower head - No storage space for own groceries etc. - No full-length mirror, no make-up mirror - No stairs to the jacuzzi We would recommend the park at any time.
