We were here in the low season (Easter). It was very unkempt and uncomfortable. There were only 2 toilets open per gender. All still understandable in the low season, but then to charge 48€ per night without electricity, we found a bit brazen...

Beautifully beautiful green landscaped campsite with lots of trees, grass, bushes, etc. Among other things by the water lots of space and place for children to play. The atmosphere is excellent, especially with many thanks to Karin, Jacob and the cheerful and fun twins Maarten and Maurits. The beautiful old center of Heeg with many nice waterfront restaurants around the corner.

Prachtig mooi groen aangelegde camping met heel veel bomen, gras, struiken, etc. Onder andere aan het water veel ruimte en plek voor kinderen om te spelen. De sfeer is uitstekend, zeker met veel dank aan Karin, Jacob en de vrolijke en leuke tweeling Maarten en Maurits. Het mooie oude centrum van Heeg met veel leuke restaurants aan het water om de hoek.

I spontaneously went camping for 3 nights with my two adolescents. I really enjoyed our time at the campground. We were extremely lucky with the weather! That's why we were able to go supping and have a go at windsurfing. I enjoyed the very relaxed atmosphere at the campground and especially the two sons who made the beach bar a real success with their own conviviality, choice of music, always friendly attitude (also towards all the young children) and their fantastic coffees! What I like is that over the days you see different family members present at the campsite, which gives it something very convivial. Thank you dear people, we have enjoyed it immensely and will definitely return. Love Jorien and kids

Ik ben spontaan 3 nachtjes naar de camping gegaan met mijn twee pubers. Ik heb onze tijd op de camping heel prettig gevonden. We hadden onwijs geluk met het weer! Daarom hebben we kunnen suppen en een poging kunnen doen met windsurfen. Ik heb genoten van het onwijs relaxte sfeertje op de camping en vooral van de twee zoons die het strandbarretje met hun eigen gezelligheid, muziekkeuze, altijd vriendelijke houding (ook richting alle jonge kinderen) en hun fantastische koffies, echt tot een succes maken! Wat ik tof vind is dat je over de dagen verschillende familieleden aanwezig ziet op de camping, wat het iets heel gemoedelijks geeft. Bedankt lieve mensen wij hebben ontiegelijk genoten en komen zeker terug. Liefs Jorien en kids

This is probably the best campsite in Friesland, maybe in all of Holland. Nowhere do you feel more welcome. Super service and fun for everyone. Lovely lake to cool down and nice spacious places.
