EuroParcs Hindeloopen is located on the IJsselmeer and offers modern, stylishly furnished accommodations with stunning water views. Guests appreciate the tranquility, direct access to private beaches, and the friendly reception staff. The location is perfect for water sports enthusiasts and families wanting to enjoy nature and the nearby picturesque village of Hindeloopen. However, the park struggles with a significant spider and mosquito problem due to the absence of window screens, making ventilation difficult and causing houses to heat up quickly without climate control. Additionally, cleanliness upon arrival is inconsistent, laundry facilities are missing, and the restaurant and shop have limited opening hours with a modest selection.

We booked accommodations on this property for a really, really, really high price, since we’ve been visiting this place for over 40 years. However, the value for the money was completely out of line. The house was quite dirty, it smelled like a dog, and the bedroom blankets were covered with mosquito remains. There were such bad stains on the sofa that I didn’t use it. On top of that, this house was missing everything. Aside from luxury items like comfortable outdoor seating, a grill, or table lamps, it was also missing important little things like toilet paper, soap, dish soap, rags, dishwashing liquid, and towels (yes—even for your hands). Instead, the accommodation had three fly swatters, which we actually needed… I don’t understand why they’d run a stinking drainage ditch through the entire park that obviously only serves as a home for 1,000,000 mosquitoes and has no other use whatsoever…
The cabins are visually appealing, and you might think you’ve booked a glamping vacation—especially given the high price—but unfortunately, the entire stay turned out to be a sham that was very disappointing overall. The staff on the grounds, on the other hand, were friendly, but unfortunately, that didn’t do us any good.this is a translation, click here for the original

A nice, beautiful park on the IJsselmeer.
However, on hot days, you really don’t want to be in these cottages—if it’s 31 degrees outside, it’s 39 degrees inside. This is probably due to the large windows in the cottages, which turn them into a sort of greenhouse. Plus, you can’t open the windows at night because they don’t have screens, and with still water, there are a lot of mosquitoes. That’s why I bought some netting at Action, cut it to size, and taped it right on. A lot of other people had done the same. It’s going to be another hot day tomorrow, but then we’ll head home to enjoy our AC.this is a translation, click here for the original
