De Bonte Fries impresses with the exceptional hospitality of farmer Piet and farmer Marije, who share the authentic farm life with infectious enthusiasm. The small-scale, securely fenced site gives children complete freedom to play, while parents can relax from their comfortable tent overlooking the play meadow. We had such a wonderful vacation. Piet and Marije are such warm and welcoming people. We felt right at home.

We had such a wonderful time at FarmCamps De Bonte Fries!
From the very first moment, we felt incredibly welcome. We were greeted with such warmth by farmer Piet and farmer Marije—what a warm welcome, and it felt like a party right away!
Our little boy didn’t know where to look first. The toys, the animals, the trampoline… everything was … one big adventure! Kids can really entertain themselves here all day long, so parents can relax and enjoy themselves too.
The tent was great, too! Everything was spotless, clean, and fully equipped. They thought of everything, even a fun box of toys for the kids. Truly ideal!

Wat hebben wij een heerlijke tijd gehad bij FarmCamps De Bonte Fries!
Vanaf het eerste moment voelden we ons ontzettend welkom. We werden supergastvrij ontvangen door boer Piet en boerin Marije, wat een warm welkom en meteen een feestje!
Ons zoontje wist niet waar hij moest kijken. Het speelgoed, de dieren, de trampoline… alles was één groot avontuur! Kinderen kunnen zich hier echt de hele dag vermaken en ouders kunnen daardoor heerlijk meegenieten.
Ook de tent was top! Alles was supernetjes, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Er was aan alles gedacht, zelfs aan een leuke kist met speelgoed voor de kinderen. Echt ideaal!
Kortom: wat een fantastische plek! Een heerlijke combinatie van buiten zijn, dieren, spelen en genieten. Wij hebben enorm genoten en komen zeker nog een keer terug! -

As one of the last guests of this season, we enjoyed a midweek at De bonte Fries. It is small scale, kid friendly, has a nice variety of animals, a hay barn with pendulum rope (favorite with the kids) and much more. The kids had a great time. Marije is a super friendly hostess, who with infectious enthusiasm gave us a nice stay. Farmer Piet, as a … hard working farmer, also has an eye for his guests and is always up for a chat. Super nice people! Highly recommended, even with less beautiful weather.

Als een van de laatste gasten van dit seizoen hebben we genoten van een midweek bij De bonte Fries. Het is kleinschalig, kindvriendelijk, heeft een leuke variatie in dieren, een hooischuur met slingertouw (favoriet bij de kids) en nog veel meer. De kinderen hebben zich goed vermaakt. Marije is een super vriendelijke gastvrouw, die met een aanstelijke enthousiasme ons een fijn verblijf heeft bezorgd. Boer Piet heeft als hard werkende boer ook oog voor zijn gasten en is altijd wel in voor een praatje. Super leuke mensen! Echt een aanrader, ook bij wat minder mooi weer.

We really enjoyed the farm life here combined with the convenience of glamping. Our kids were busy all day with the animals: cuddling bunnies, brushing ponies, playing in the hay barn and racing around the grounds on go-karts. They entertained themselves so well that I (as a mom) could really relax, too. Farmer Piet and farmer's wife Marije are … incredibly hospitable and helpful. You notice in everything that they do this with love. Nothing is too much to ask and you immediately feel welcome. The tent was super comfortable and was ideally located, overlooking the playground. So you could sit on your own terrace while the kids were still playing. And after an active day it was great to come back to a tent with its own bathroom with bath. The area is also beautiful-but honestly, you almost don't have to leave the campground. There is so much to do on the property itself that even a rainy day is not a problem. In short: highly recommended for families with children. We will definitely come back here again! 🐴🐄🐑☀️

We hebben hier echt genoten van het boerderijleven in combinatie met het gemak van glamping. Onze kinderen waren de hele dag in de weer met de dieren: konijntjes knuffelen, pony’s borstelen, spelen in de hooischuur en racen op skelters over het terrein. Ze vermaakten zich zó goed, dat ik (als moeder) ook echt konden ontspannen. Boer Piet en boerin Marije zijn ontzettend gastvrij en behulpzaam. Je merkt aan alles dat ze dit met liefde doen. Niets is teveel gevraagd en je voelt je direct welkom. De tent was supercomfortabel en lag ideaal, met uitzicht op de speelweide. Zo kon je lekker op je eigen terrasje zitten terwijl de kinderen nog aan het spelen waren. En na een actieve dag was het heerlijk om terug te komen in een tent met eigen badkamer met bad. De omgeving is ook prachtig—maar eerlijk gezegd hoef je de camping bijna niet af. Er is zoveel te doen op het terrein zelf dat ook een regenachtige dag geen probleem is. Kortom: een dikke aanrader voor gezinnen met kinderen. Wij komen hier zeker nog een keer terug! 🐴🐄🐑☀️

Spent a long weekend with farmer Pete, farmer's wife Marije and their daughter Eva last year. What a great place for children and therefore parents. Small-scale, cozy and warm. Most of the tents are right next to a playing field and therefore the children can move freely. Farmer Marije takes every guest into farm life with lots of love. There is … plenty to do during the day, from roasting marshmellows by the campfire to fun craft activities. The play barn is also great for the kids! We will definitely be back! Vorig jaar een lang weekend bij boer Piet, boerin Marije en hun dochter Eva doorgebracht. Wat een geweldige plek voor kinderen en daarmee ook ouders. Kleinschalig, knus en warm. De meeste tenten staan direct aan speelveld en daardoor kunnen de kinderen heerlijk vrij bewegen. Boerin Marije neemt iedere gast met heel veel liefde op in het boerderijleven.
