Heeg's attractive marina is home to four spacious houseboats, ideal for a relaxing vacation. These unique accommodations, suitable for 2 to 4 persons, are located right on the waterfront and offer a beautiful view of the marina, where boats regularly sail by in the charming water sports village of Heeg. The Houseboat has the same conveniences as a boat only it stays in the same place during your stay.

From the private terrace you can enjoy a magnificent view, and in warm weather you can take a refreshing dip in the marina. Prefer to go to the beach? That's just a 10-minute walk away. You have your own 'private water' in front of the door, where you can swim, fish and practice water sports. The lively village center of Heeg can be reached within 5 minutes on foot via a picturesque aqueduct. Each houseboat comes with a picnic table on the lawn on the waterfront, perfect for cozy meals or outdoor drinks.

The houseboats are suitable for both a short weekend getaway and a longer vacation and are excellent to combine with the rental of a sailboat, electric sloop, sup-boards, canoes or kayaks. Heeg itself offers a warm atmosphere with numerous restaurants and stores and is an ideal base for trips to surrounding villages such as Sneek, Workum, Stavoren, Woudsend, Sloten and Langweer.

Each houseboat offers comfortable accommodation for up to 4 people and features two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed. The bright living room features a seating area, a dining table and a kitchen with modern amenities such as a refrigerator, two electric hobs and a Nespresso coffee machine. For entertainment, there is a TV with streaming function, so you can easily stream content from your smartphone or tablet, such as Netflix.

The modern bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet and sink. Moreover, free wifi is available in the marina, so you can always stay online. In short, these houseboats in Heeg offer the perfect balance between comfort, luxury and the beautiful nature of Friesland.

    Hoora is a top company. With our sailing club we sail on the Frisian lakes for almost four decades. This year in Motions 670, renamed by us as Kestrels ;-). It was a pleasure to sail in it. The easy to operate electric motor is also a delight compared to the outboard yamaha tops. We are happy to rent again in 2026.

    Hoora is een topbedrijf. Met onze zeilclub varen we bijna vier decennia op de Friese meren. Dit jaar in Motions 670, door ons omgedoopt tot Torenvalken ;-). Het was een lust om erin te varen. De eenvoudig bedienbare elektromotor is ook een genot ten opzichte van de buitenboord yamaha-tjes. We huren graag weer in 2026.
