General information

This tastefully decorated safari tent has a living area of about 40 square meters, with standing room in the entire tent, and equipped with a lovely spacious terrace with awning.

The completely equipped kitchen has a four-burner thermally protected gas stove and is on wheels that can be moved outside, so you can enjoy cooking outside! In addition, the kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, coffee maker and kettle.

In the back of the tent are two sleeping cabins. One sleeping cabin has a double bed and the other sleeping cabin has two bunk beds.

Guests particularly appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, the modern and clean sanitary facilities with free hot showers, and the spacious pitches with direct electricity connection. The campsite is ideal for water sports enthusiasts thanks to its private harbour, the opportunity to swim in the canal, and the rental of canoes and SUPs. Areas for improvement include the proximity of the provincial road which is clearly audible during the day, the absence of toilet paper in the toilets, and the limited WiFi quality.

    A large meadow about 2.5 km from Sneek. A 10-minute bike ride. Basic but clean restroom facilities. I'm deducting one star because there's no toilet paper and the road 100 meters away is quite noisy. Otherwise, everything's fine. The price is reasonable.

    Große Wiese etwa 2,5 km von Sneek entfernt. Mit dem Fahrrad 10 Minuten. Sanitär einfach aber sauber. 1 Stern Abzug da Toilettenpapier fehlt und die 100m entfernte Straße schon recht viel Lärm macht. Ansonsten alles ok. Preis angemessen.

    A neat campground, with few amenities, unfortunately, there is noise pollution from the stray animal shelter across the street and the adjacent thoroughfare to Leeuwarden, where (mostly by the same cars—a black Golf, a white Seat, and a black Dodge RAM) as many decibels as possible are squeezed out of the exhaust.

    Fortunately, there weren’t many visitors; otherwise, you’d be standing right next to and in front of each other. The restrooms are spotlessly clean.
    However, there are only two dishwashing stations, which I think is too few with so many guests.
    Otherwise, it’s well maintained.
    The owner is friendly and drives around a lot to keep an eye … on everything.
    And you’re right on the water, where you can moor your boat.
    Really nice.
    You can go on long bike rides across the river—it’s really fun.

    Er waren gelukkigniet veel bezoekers, anders sta je toch wel vlak naast en voor elkaar. De toiletten zijn keurig schoon .
    Alleen zijn er maar 2 afwas ounten en dat vind ik te weinig met zoveel gasten.
    Verder wordt het goed onderhouden.
    Aardige eigenaar, rijd veel rond om alles in de gaten te houden.
    En je zit aan water waar je de boot kunt aanleggen.
    Erg leuk.
    Je kunt aan de overkant ver fietsen, erg leuk.
