Guests feel misled as construction work was not always clearly communicated in advance, and the park appears to be increasingly focusing on luxury accommodation at the expense of camping pitches.

    We were parked behind the restaurant. Right on the canal—where the boats come and go—and with direct access to the beach on the other side. It was very nice. Unfortunately, on the second day, heavy construction equipment—such as trucks loaded with heavy pipes, excavators, etc.—arrived, so by 7:00 a.m., our peaceful night’s rest and vacation relaxation were over. The beach was cordoned off. We complained at the front desk that we hadn’t been informed about this. They were very nice and offered us another spot. We weren’t too keen on that and wanted to leave. They then refunded us the money we’d already paid for the nights we didn’t use. The restrooms were always very clean. Unfortunately, the campground is being overbuilt with luxury vacation homes.

    Wir waren hinterm Restaurant auf dem Stellplatz. Direkt an der Gracht bzw. wo die Schiffe ein und auslaufen und zur anderen Seite direkter Zugang zum Strand. Sehr schön. Leider rückten am 2. Tag schwere Baumaschinen wie LKWS mit schweren Rohren beladen, Bagger usw. an, so das um 07.00 Uhr die Nachtruhe und Urlaubserholung rum war. Der Strand war abgesperrt. Wir haben uns an der Rezeption beschwert das man uns nicht darüber in Kenntnis gesetzt haben. Sie waren sehr nett und haben uns einen anderen Platz angeboten. Dies wollten wir nicht so gerne und wollten abreisen. Sie haben uns dann unser bereits gezahltes Geld für die Nächte die wir nicht in Anspruch genommen haben zurück gezahlt. Sanitäranlagen waren immer sehr sauber. Leider wird der Campingplatz mit Luxusferienhäuser zu gebaut.

    Update 2026: The reception is now only open until 6 p.m.; the campsites lack a solid grass surface and are extremely uneven with a lot of dust. Fortunately, it was dry—otherwise it would be unacceptable for a campground in this price range.

    We’ve been coming here for many, many years. Unfortunately, the site is no longer being properly maintained, especially the drainage ditches.
    As a result, the campgrounds turn into swamps after every rain and don’t dry out until two days later. Everything gets dirty—the kids, the tent, the RV.

    Update 2026: Reception nur noch bis 18 Uhr geöffnet, auf der Parzelle keine geschlossene Rasendecke und total uneben mit viel Staub. Zum Glück war es trocken sonst wäre es inakzeptabel für einen Platz dieser Preisklasse.

    Wir kommen schon seit sehr vielen Jahren hierhin. Leider wird der Platz nicht mehr ordentlich gepflegt, insbesondere die Pflege der Entwässeungsgräben.
    Das hat zu Folge, das sich die Campingwiesen nach jedem Regen in Sumpflandschaften und diese erst nach zwei Tagen trocknen. Alles wird dann dreckig, die Kinder, das Zelt, das Wohnmobil.
