The 5-person Safari Tent is an adventurous accommodation that combines the rugged character of a safari tent with the comforts of home. Now that's real glamping!

The Safari tent is beautifully situated right on the Bergumermeer.

There is a bedroom with a double bed (2 separate mattresses) and a separate bedroom with both a bunk bed and a single bed.

The Safari tent has a toilet and a spacious shower room. In the kitchen you will find a refrigerator, microwave, stove, Senseo machine and kettle.

Included in the price of the Safari tent is unlimited access to Jonas and the Whale and participation in (almost) all activities of the recreation team.

    At 1st glance a very nice cottage. But it was not particularly clean, due to the altitude we also could not do anything about all the cobwebs and dead insects. When it rained very hard we had leakage. We reported this at the reception. Someone came to look who would come back, but nobody more seen seen. The beds were very good. In the toilet there was no extraction so the ground air was terrible. In the shower there was extraction so we kept the light on day and night and opened the door so it smelled a little less.

    Op het 1e gezicht een heel leuk huisje. Maar het was niet bepaald schoon, door de hoogte konden we ook niets aan al het spinrag en dode insecten doen. Toen het heel hard regende hadden we lekkage. We meldden dit bij de receptie. Er kwam iemand kijken die terug zou komen, maar niemand meer gezien gezien. De bedden waren heel goed. In het toilet was geen afzuiging, dus de grondlucht was verschrikkelijk. In de douche was wel afzuiging dus dag en nacht licht aangehouden en deur open zodat het wat minder stonk.

    Nice small park on the water. Too bad they did not clearly indicate on the website that the pool was not open during the autumn vacations. Neither on the main page of the website nor during the booking process. Contacted reception/customer service about this. Met showed full understanding but offered no goodwill or otherwise. I personally thought that was a missed opportunity and not very customer friendly.

    Leuk kleinschalig park aan het water. Wel jammer dat ze niet duidelijk op de website hadden aangegeven dat het zwembad niet geopend was tijdens de herfstvakantie. Zowel niet op de hoofdpagina van de website als tijdens het boekingsproces. Hierover contact gehad met de receptie/klantenservice. Met toonde alle begrip maar bood geen coulance of anderszins. Dat vond ik persoonlijk een gemiste kans en niet erg klantvriendelijk.

    Upon arrival, chalet 467 was dirty: hair, stains, dirty dishes and a large urine stain in the mattress. The dishwasher was not working and despite my reports and photos, no action was taken. Extra cleaning fee for my cat was totally unjustified. Very disappointing stay and poor service. EDIT; Called in advance that I was bringing a cat and reported complaints to front desk immediately upon arrival.

    Bij aankomst was chalet 467 vies: haren, vlekken, vieze vaat en een grote urinevlek in het matras. De vaatwasser werkte niet en ondanks mijn meldingen en foto’s werd er geen enkele actie ondernomen. Extra schoonmaakkosten voor mijn kat waren totaal niet gerechtvaardigd. Zeer teleurstellend verblijf en slechte service. EDIT; Vooraf gebeld dat ik een kat mee nam en meteen bij aankomst klachten gemeld bij receptie.
