The 5-person Safari Tent is an adventurous accommodation that combines the rugged character of a safari tent with the comforts of home. Now that's real glamping!

The Safari tent is beautifully situated right on the Bergumermeer.

There is a bedroom with a double bed (2 separate mattresses) and a separate bedroom with both a bunk bed and a single bed.

The Safari tent has a toilet and a spacious shower room. In the kitchen you will find a refrigerator, microwave, stove, Senseo machine and kettle.

Included in the price of the Safari tent is unlimited access to Jonas and the Whale and participation in (almost) all activities of the recreation team.

    The campground is beautifully laid out. We were parked in spot 25, right on the water. The tree on the site provides pleasant shade when you want it, but also lets plenty of sun ☀️ onto the spot—perfect for the sun worshippers among you.

    The washhouse was always very clean throughout our entire stay. Hand sanitizer is available in the restrooms 👍🏻. We suspect the washhouse is less than two years old. Everything is modern, like new, and up to date.

    The indoor pool is also highly recommended. Access is via facial recognition.
    This allows the kids to come and go on their own as they please.

    We’d come back anytime. It was a wonderful vacation!

    Der Campingplatz ist sehr schön angelegt. Wir haben auf Platz 25 direkt am Wasser gestanden. Der Baum auf dem Stellplatz spendet angenehmen Schatten, wenn man ihn sucht, lässt aber gleichzeitig auch genügend Sonne ☀️ auf den Platz – perfekt für die Sonnenanbeter unter euch.

    Das Waschhaus war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts immer sehr sauber. Auf den WCs steht Desinfektionsmittel zur Verfügung 👍🏻. Wir vermuten, dass das Waschhaus noch keine zwei Jahre alt ist. Alles ist modern, neuwertig und auf dem neuesten Stand.

    Auch das Hallenbad ist sehr zu empfehlen. Der Zugang erfolgt per Gesichtserkennung.
    Die Kinder können dadurch selbstständig kommen und gehen, wie sie möchten.

    Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub!

    We had such a great weekend at Bergumermeer Vacation Park! We stayed in a neat, clean chalet that had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

    We had a delicious meal at the restaurant. Kudos to Lars for the friendly and prompt service!

    Beautiful park, great amenities, and a wonderful atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend with friends and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

    In het restaurant hebben we heerlijk gegeten. Complimenten aan Lars voor de vriendelijke en snelle bediening!

    We spent a weekend at the campground, and it’s actually a great place. We had a nice spot in the shade. What did stand out to us, though, is that a lot of people (rednecks) have permanent spots at the campground. That’s not a big deal and actually makes for a friendly atmosphere. What we didn’t like, though, was that rats were running through our tent at night—they even gnawed on our inner tent. The fishing was good. But partly because of the rats, we’ll never go back there again. It was really gross—I’ve never experienced anything like that at a campground before.

    Wij stonden voor een weekend op de camping en is opzich een prima camping. We hadden een mooi plekje in de schaduw. Wat ons wel opviel is dat er veel mensen (tokkies) een vaste plek hebben op de camping. Dat is niet erg en brengt veel gezelligheid met zich mee. Wat wij minder vonden is dat er s'nachts ratten door de tent kwamen lopen, er is zelfs aan onze binnentent geknaagd. Vissen was goed. Maar mede door de ratten zullen wij hier nooit meer heen gaan. Echt ranzig, heb ik echt nog nooit meegemaakt op een camping.
