The location of EuroParcs Bad Hoophuizen is very beautiful and the park is well suited for a vacation with a dog. I was there with my dog for a few days at the beginning of December 2025. Unfortunately, the Green Villa I rented was very unhygienic and not properly cleaned on arrival (including hair in the bed, dirty pots and lots of dust/dirt). Although I was offered a rectification, I did not accept it for personal reasons. In addition, several shortcomings only became apparent during my stay. Due to the sensitive, unhygienic conditions, I cleaned them myself instead, which subsequently meant that I was not given any compensation for the cleaning. Even the owners of the Green Villa are of the opinion that I would have been entitled to a refund due to the unclean condition. However, EuroParcs insists that this is no longer possible, which I feel is not customer-oriented and not visitor-friendly. After viewing the pictures (20+) and talking to them, I was assured that the case would be discussed with the management and that I would receive prompt feedback. However, even after more than two weeks, I had not received any feedback, so I finally decided to contact them again by phone to find out the final decision from EuroParcs. This is not the way you want your vacation to start - all in all, it was very unfortunate, which is particularly unfortunate as the resort itself has real potential.

It was extremly dirty: - lots of spiders - floors not cleaned - dirty pillows - dirty sofa - not working bathroom - personal not helpful at all. We showed them all the photos about the bad condition of our house and they refused to rebook us. They suggested to send us cleaners straight away, which did not happen. Terribly disappointed with the stay. See the pictures and judge for yourself!

We stayed at the accommodation from Saturday to Monday at 10 am. As soon as we entered the house, we were greeted by a very unpleasant smell. On closer inspection, we noticed numerous unhygienic and really disgusting conditions: All the dishes were very dirty, the floor was sticky, and I'd rather not even talk about the condition of the beds. The covers were wrapped in plastic, but when we opened them we were met with another unpleasant smell. After our arrival, we initially tried to clean the room ourselves, but quickly realized that the cleaning effort would have been enormous. We therefore contacted the staff. However, the response was anything but customer-friendly: we were simply told that we should not have cleaned ourselves and that we could therefore not be offered any compensation. Overall, we were very disappointed. The accommodation is not recommendable in this condition and the staff were not very accommodating either.

A great park in a beautiful setting. From the fabulous accommodation "Notenboom 5" (L-Cube construction) everything was within easy walking distance. The small supermarket is directly opposite. There is a nice restaurant and an indoor swimming pool with a sauna nearby. Even the reception is in the immediate vicinity. The location of Notenboom 5 is really great. I can recommend the park and the accommodation without reservation. Everything was very clean and in perfect condition.
