The small but cozy Beach House 4 really gives the ultimate beach feeling during your stay. This detached house is on the ground floor and suitable for a maximum of 4 persons. The attractive and contemporary living room has a sitting area with television, a dining area and an open kitchen with facilities such as a dishwasher, combination microwave and a Senseo coffee machine. There are 2 bedrooms, both with 2 single beds. In the bathroom you will find the toilet, the shower and a washbasin. Through folding doors you enter the terrace with garden furniture.     We had booked a stay at Park Hulckesteijn. It turned out we were assigned cottage CM44.
    The cottage wasn’t exactly clean and was a bit worn, but that was fine—we were there for some peace and quiet.
    Suddenly, a car drove by three times, a woman got out, and she walked into the living room. It turned out to be the owner, who apparently rents … out the cottage through the park. She said she saw (on the camera???) that we were there and that we had rented it until next week. She had just come to check on the condition of the lawn. She knew we were in the living room; I made it clear that I didn’t appreciate having my privacy invaded—especially since we’d paid over €1,000 for 10 nights in a vacation cottage to relax. She just kept hanging around. The thought that an owner could just walk into the house at any time—even with our belongings there and what appeared to be hidden camera equipment in the cottage—terrified us!!! This is a terrible invasion of privacy. The front desk was understanding, and they allowed us to rebook the remaining days into a different cottage—though we had to pay an additional €100 for an extra cleaning service since we’d be moving into a second cottage.
    It’s truly bizarre that a landlord would just start walking around the living room unannounced and unexpectedly at any random moment—and then actually stick around. This was a very unpleasant experience. If you book at Park Hulckesteijn, make sure you don’t get cottage CM44! Because this was truly bizarre!

    Wij hadden geboekt bij park Hulckesteijn. We bleken huisje CM44 te krijgen.
    Echt schoon was het huisje al niet en ook een beetje afgeleefd, maar prima we kwamen voor onze rust.
    Opeens rijdt een auto drie x langs, stapt een vrouw uit en die loopt de woonkamer in. Blijkt de eigenaresse te zijn die schijnbaar het huisje verhuurt via het park. Geeft aan dat ze zag (op de camera???) dat we aanwezig waren en dat we gehuurd hadden tot volgende week. Ze kwam even kijken hoe het gras erbij lag. Ze wist dat we in de woonkamer zaten, ik liet merken dat ik het niet fijn vond om in me privacy gestoord te worden, we hadden nota bene meer dan €1000 betaalt voor 10 nachten een vakantiehuisje te kunnen rusten. Ze bleef ook nog gewoon hangen. De gedachte dat de gehele tijd een eigenaar de woning zo maar inloopt, ook met onze spullen daar en die schijnbaar verstopte camera-apparatuur in het huisje heeft liet ons gigantisch schrikken!!! Vreselijke inbreuk op de privacy dit. Bij de receptie hadden ze wel begrip en we konden de resterende dagen wel omboeken naar een ander huisje, echter wel alleen met meer dan €100 bijboeken van een extra schoonmaakbeurt omdat we een tweede huisje zouden betrekken.
    Echt bizar dat een verhuurder gewoon onaangekondigd, onverwacht op een willekeurig moment tussen je door in de woonkamer begint rond te lopen en ook nog blijft hangen. Heel vervelende ervaring dit. Als u boekt bij park Hulckesteijn controleer of u huisje CM44 niet krijgt! want dit was echt bizar!
