A beautiful park in a beautiful setting

Het zijn oplichters. Ik had in april en juni van dit jaar 2 x 31 dagen ( 3 weken) geboekt. En ik hen voor de 3e keer op 26 september tot 10 oktober geboekt, 2 weken. Ik heb vorige week voor een week bijgeboekt van 10 tot 17 oktober en daar kreeg ik van de week een boekingsbevestiging van. Maar gisteren kreeg ik opeens een bericht van deze … oplichters dat mijn boeking voor 1 week langer werd geannuleerd omdat ik volgens hun langer dan 24 dagen per jaar in dat belachelijke Europarc ben geweest. Ze hebben wel mijn geld 3 x geaccepteerd voor 3 aparte boekingen in april, juni en september en dat zijn bijna 60 dagen bij elkaar in dit jaar. En nu opeens word ik zomaar geweigerd en weggestuurd door deze oplichters omdat ik zogenaamd niet langer dan 24 dagen per jaar mag verblijven in dat Europarcs. Terwijl ik daar al bijna 60 dagen heb geboekt en verbleven. Het zijn oplichters en leugenaars. Boek nooit bij dit Europarcs. Je kunt zomaar ineens worden weggestuurd met een leugen door deze oplichters. Read more Show less

We had booked a stay at Park Hulckesteijn. It turned out we were assigned cottage CM44.
The cottage wasn’t exactly clean and was a bit worn, but that was fine—we were there for some peace and quiet.
Suddenly, a car drove by three times, a woman got out, and she walked into the living room. It turned out to be the owner, who apparently rents … out the cottage through the park. She said she saw (on the camera???) that we were there and that we had rented it until next week. She had just come to check on the condition of the lawn. She knew we were in the living room; I made it clear that I didn’t appreciate having my privacy invaded—especially since we’d paid over €1,000 for 10 nights in a vacation cottage to relax. She just kept hanging around. The thought that an owner could just walk into the house at any time—even with our belongings there and what appeared to be hidden camera equipment in the cottage—terrified us!!! This is a terrible invasion of privacy. The front desk was understanding, and they allowed us to rebook the remaining days into a different cottage—though we had to pay an additional €100 for an extra cleaning service since we’d be moving into a second cottage.
It’s truly bizarre that a landlord would just start walking around the living room unannounced and unexpectedly at any random moment—and then actually stick around. This was a very unpleasant experience. If you book at Park Hulckesteijn, make sure you don’t get cottage CM44! Because this was truly bizarre! Read more Show less
