This cozy, wooden Tiny House 2 can accommodate 2 people. Although it is small, it is cleverly laid out and fully equipped. Along with other Tiny Houses, the cottage borders an open-air courtyard, often with lounge sofas, hammocks, a barbecue and a (shared) hot tub. The living room has a cozy sitting area with television and a pellet stove. In the kitchen you will find, among other things, an induction stove, combination microwave, kettle and a Nespresso Machine. A staircase leads to the sleeping loft with 1 double bed. Your tiny house has a bathroom with shower and toilet. Outside is a cozy terrace with a double garden set. You can park 1 car in the central parking lot and there is free wifi available. You can buy the wood you need for the barbecue and hot tub at the park shop and do not need to bring your own.

    Disappointing experience at EuroParcs De Zanding

    Upon arrival at our Tiny Lodge, we discovered that the shower thermostat was broken. Unfortunately, this problem wasn’t resolved immediately. Since no technician was available that same day, he didn’t come by until the next day. He confirmed that the thermostat was indeed … broken.

    Midway through the day, we were offered the option to move to a similar cabin for one night. It’s understandable, of course, that something might break during a stay. What I find very disappointing, however, is the way this was handled.

    I especially missed the personal service and customer-friendliness. It’s precisely when something goes wrong that you expect the resort to be proactive and attentive to the guest’s needs.

    Three weeks ago, I sent a letter about this, but to date I have not received any response. I find that disappointing as well, and to me, it doesn’t reflect the level of service you should expect from a vacation park.

    Unfortunately, this experience has led us to decide that this will be the last time we book a stay at EuroParcs De Zanding. It’s a missed opportunity, because with a little more personal attention and proper follow-up, this could have been a completely different experience.

    teleurstellende ervaring bij EuroParcs De Zanding

    Bij aankomst in onze Tiny Lodge bleek de thermostaat van de douche defect te zijn. Helaas is dit probleem niet direct opgelost. Omdat er diezelfde dag geen monteur beschikbaar was, kwam deze pas de volgende dag langs. Hij constateerde inderdaad dat de thermostaat defect was.

    Halverwege de dag kregen we de mogelijkheid om voor één nacht naar een vergelijkbaar huisje te verhuizen. Dat er tijdens een verblijf iets defect kan raken, is natuurlijk begrijpelijk. Wat ik echter erg jammer vind, is de manier waarop hiermee is omgegaan.

    Ik heb vooral de persoonlijke service en klantvriendelijkheid gemist. Juist op het moment dat er iets misgaat, verwacht je dat er vanuit het park wordt meegedacht en dat er aandacht is voor de gast.

    Drie weken geleden heb ik hierover een brief gestuurd, maar tot op heden heb ik hierop geen enkele reactie ontvangen. Ook dat vind ik teleurstellend en getuigt voor mij niet van de service die je van een vakantiepark mag verwachten.

    Helaas heeft deze ervaring ertoe geleid dat dit voor ons de laatste keer is geweest dat we bij EuroParcs De Zanding hebben geboekt. Een gemiste kans, want met wat meer persoonlijke aandacht en een goede afhandeling had dit een heel andere ervaring kunnen zijn.

    A beautiful and very green park. Lots of water. We had a spacious, quiet, and clean cottage with a large garden. Plenty of privacy, too.
    The staff is very friendly and resolved any minor issues right away.
    The pool is small but quiet early in the morning and around dinnertime, in the early evening.
    The park store has a wide selection.
    Very nice biking and hiking trails starting right from the park.

    Prachtig en heel groen park. Veel water. Wij hadden een ruim, rustig gelegen en schoon huisje met een grote tuin. Veel privacy ook.
    Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en losten wat kleine ongemakken direct op.
    Zwembad klein maar rustig vroeg id ochtend en rond etenstijd, begin vd avond.
    Parkwinkel ruim gesorteerd.
    Hele mooie fiets- en wandelroutes direct vanaf het park.
    We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad

    Beautiful park and lovely surroundings.
    The house hadn’t been cleaned and was very dirty; I reported this to the front desk. They said they would discuss it internally and then get back to me. This never happened—very sloppy of EuroParcs. I have little confidence in booking with this organization again.
