    We came back for the second time, a year later. It felt a bit like coming home.
    We had a lovely and enjoyable stay.
    However, we did notice that things were different.
    Unfortunately, we found the entertainment to be lacking. There was absolutely no interaction with the children on the fields. Two years ago, golf carts were still driving around to get the kids excited about coming. We also thought it was a shame that your famous pool party wasn’t there. Our kids had been looking forward to that.
    All in all, we had a nice vacation, but unfortunately it wasn’t quite what we experienced two years ago.
    The park is very neat and tidy, as are the restrooms.

    Voor de 2e keer met een jaar er tussen zijn we terug gekomen. Het voelde een beetje als thuiskomen.
    Een mooi en fijn verblijf gehad.
    Echter merkte we wel dat het anders was.
    De animatie vonden wij helaas minder. Er was geen enkele interactie met de kinderen op de velden. 2 jaar geleden reden er nog golfkarretjes rond om de kinderen enthousiast te maken om te komen. Ook vonden we het jammer dat jullie bekende poolparty er niet was. Daar hadden onze kinderen zich op verheugd.
    Al met al een fijne vakantie gehad, maar helaas niet wat we 2 jaar geleden hebben ervaren.
    Park is keurig netjes, sanitair ook.

    A large campground, noisy, rules… Enforcement is hard to find. The little store is small, and I don’t think the selection is at all suitable for a campground. It’s restocked once a week…
    The pool is good, though a bit small for how crowded the campground gets. The rental units look nice. The comfort camping sites aren’t very wide.
    Only the Oak Grove has large trees providing some shade. The restrooms are pretty good, though there’s low water pressure in the evening. Toilet paper often runs out. The restaurant is great! Entertainment for kids up to about 8 or 9 years old. Very sports-oriented; no “Werewolf” games, and it was hunting season during the two weeks we were there. We also didn’t see much entertainment at the campground—no games around the campground, announcements, or parades… Though twice a week, the fruit vendor would ride his bike through the campground, whistling as he advertised his wares—very cozy! Parking is in the designated spots, but there aren’t enough of them, and the spaces are very narrow. There are three exits, but you’re only allowed to use one of them…. One handy thing is that you can order bread rolls a day in advance!

    Een grote camping, rumoerig, regels…. Handhaving is ver te zoeken. Winkeltje klein en vind het assortiment totaal niet passen voor camping. 1x per week wordt deze aangevuld…
    Zwembad goed, wel klein voor de drukte van de camping. Verhuur ziet er goed uit. Kampeerplaatsen comfort zijn niet breed.
    Alleen eikenveld heeft flinke bomen voor wat schaduw. Sanitair best goed alleen is er in avond weinig waterdruk. Vaak toiletpapier op. Restaurant is top! Animatie tot een jaar of 8/9 . Veel op sport gericht, geen weerwolven, jachtseizoen in 2 weken dat we er waren. Ook weinig animatie gezien op camping, spellen over de camping of aankondiging of parade… 2x per week wel de fruitboer die fietsend en fluitend over de camping reclame maakt, gezellig! Parkeren is op de parkeerplaatsen maar die zijn er niet voldoende en het is erg smal maar allemaal. 3 uitgangen maar je mag er maar van 1 gebruik maken…. Handige is dat je wel broodjes kan bestellen dag van te voren!

    We stayed at this campground with our RV for two weeks (at the end of July)—a family with two children, ages 5 and 2. We had a wonderful vacation. The campground looks neat and well-maintained. The campsite area where we were parked was nicely laid out, with a playground in the middle. A very nice pool for all ages! It was also very clean, just like the restroom facilities. The other amenities were great too, such as the little shop, restaurant, snack bar, and fun activities for the kids. The staff is friendly and professional! Thank you, Ackersate, for the wonderful vacation!! Keep up the good work!

    We hebben 2 weken met de caravan op deze camping gestaan (eind juli) gezin met twee kinderen van 5 en 2 jaar. We hebben een super fijne vakantie gehad. Camping ziet er netjes en verzorgd uit. Het camping veld waar we stonden was erg leuk opgezet met een speelplaats in het midden. Erg mooi zwembad voor jong en oud! Netjes schoon ook, net als de sanitair gebouwen. Verdere faciliteiten waren ook super zoals winkeltje, restaurant, snackbar en leuke activiteiten voor de kinderen. Personeel is vriendelijk en netjes! Ackersate bedankt voor de fijne vakantie!! Doorgaan zo!
