We have been to this campground a few times (always outside the vacations or in t low season) and find it a nice place to camp. The sites are generally large, you can enjoy hiking and biking in the area. Some points of attention: The lady at the reception doesn't seem very motivated/interested during check-in. The pool needs an update, do not lose sight of hygiene. Tiles on the edges are rancid and also the panels on t ceiling are brown. Plumbing is generally good, pumps of soap not always filled in the toilets and at the start of the camping season there was no hot/hot water. Wifi is a concern, signal often weak. Some people do have a lot of awning and ground tarps on the pitches which means grass does not grow and if you are unlucky in terms of weather a muddy pitch. The renewed lampposts give too much light hopefully something will be done about this. Think of the light pollution in a nature reserve! So there are really points for improvement if you want to continue as a five star campsite and the status as a royal recreation park to propagate. Friendly staff in t restaurant, price quality on the high side. Hopefully you do something with the somewhat worse reviews and / or points of attention because it remains a beautiful location to camp.

Beautiful park and facilities. Only communication could be better. Major renovation of sites on the south east side. Whole day, 10 days in a row, including weekends, machines running. We had a place directly adjacent to the construction sites. Could have been told, in my opinion. That was a pity.

Had m.i. wel even mogen worden verteld. Dat was wel jammer.

Excellent park, camping in excellent location. You walk straight into the forest, or onto the moors. Cycling routes are also nearby. For shopping you can bike to Ermelo about 2km. Plumbing Prima. Places on site very good. Neat waste separation. Very nice for children with playgrounds and swimming pool and also car-free, so mostly safe for cycling children.
