Summary created out of 250 reviews

De Paalberg is beautifully situated in the forest with direct access to the Ermelosche Heide, perfect for hiking and cycling. Guests appreciate the spacious pitches and the car-free nature of the park, which provides peace and safety for children. The sanitary facilities are regularly cleaned and most buildings have been renovated. The swimming pool with slide and rapids is a highlight, as is the enthusiastic animation team during holidays. However, there are points of attention: the wifi connection is weak, the shop has limited opening hours, and some guests experience the reception staff as not very hospitable. The cleanliness of accommodations and the restaurant also receive mixed reactions.

We had another wonderful weekend at the Paalberg last weekend.

We received a warm welcome at the front desk. Late check-out wasn’t a problem and was arranged in no time.

We’ll be coming back to this campground because there’s a choice between spacious fields or private spots, the restrooms are clean and well-maintained, and there’s plenty for the kids to do, including the new pump track. The entire park is well-maintained and tidy.

The sunbathing area by the pool has been expandedβ€”a great decision, as it meant everyone had a nice spot to relax. The lifeguard at the pool is a nice guy; he has a smile on his face all day and is friendly.

The cafeteria staff are friendly people. They keep smiling and interact with guests even during the busy evening rush.

In short, a beautiful, wooded campground. The sites are neat, and the entire campground is well-maintained. This is reflected in the number of stars.
    We’d love to come back.

Cafetaria personeel, vriendelijke mensen. Blijven lachen en contact maken tijdens drukke avondspits.

Kortom, mooie bosrijke camping.

I’ve been coming to this campground for 45 years now; it’s still a great campground with very nice sites and amenities. However, for about 20 years now, the Wi-Fi/internet here has been poor, and unfortunately, it hasn’t improved at all over the years.

We had a great time camping at Camping De Paalberg. We rented a bike, but the tire was flat; the staff was very friendly and someone from the campground fixed it right away. One small thing: maintenance could be a little betterβ€”like the mini-golf course at the campground, where some screws are loose. Also, dogs are welcome, which I personally don’t so greatβ€”you’re relaxing nicely when suddenly a dog starts barking. But otherwise, if I had to give it a rating, I’d give it an 8.
