From glamping De Paalberg you walk straight onto the Ermelose Heide, a vast area of no less than 380 hectares, located between Staverden and Ermelo. During your walk you might just run into a shepherd with his flock of sheep, especially if you follow the route to the Ermelo Sheepfold. Besides hiking, the area offers numerous cycling opportunities through forests, over moors and past picturesque rural areas.     Beautiful well maintained campsite with clean sanitary facilities. Some points of improvement as far as I am concerned. We can not pack the car a day in advance because I am not allowed to drive the car in the park. But Saturday at 11.00 must be. Bit of a hassle that one trip there at the campground. At the toilets they don't have a good solution to dry your hands after washing. Hands hair dryer not powerful enough, and no paper wipes. Toilet paper is too thin and because it is taped to the roll it keeps getting lost in the dispenser irritating. Face recognition doesn't quite work either. Fortunately, you can communicate via whatsapp with the reception if it doesn't work, who then tell you to come to the reception. (Whatsap makes little sense then).

    Mooie goed onderhouden camping met schoon sanitair. Wel wat verbeterpuntjes wat mij betreft. We kunnen de auto een dag van te voren niet inpakken omdat ik niet met de auto op het park mag. Maar wel zaterdag om 11.00 moet zijn. Beetje gezeur dat ene ritje heen op de camping. Bij de toiletten hebben ze geen goede oplossing om je handen af te drogen na het wassen. Handen fohn die niet krachtig genoeg is, en geen papieren doekjes. Toiletpapier is te dun en omdat het op de rol geplakt zit verdwijnt het steeds in de dispenser irritant. Gezicht herkenning werkt ook niet helemaal. Gelukkig kan je via whatsapp met de receptie communiceren als het noet lukt, die vervolgens zeggen dat je naar de receptie moet komen. (Whatsap heeft dan weinig zin).

    Large vacation park, but orderly and well maintained. The cottages are nicely furnished with plenty of privacy. The bungalow tents are close together compared to the rest. The camp sites are generally spacious with plenty of sun and shade options. The park has several (sand) playgrounds for the little ones, 'bouncy castle' , soccer and tennis field and pumptrack for the bigger ones and a swimming pool & animation team for all ages. You walk straight into the forest and heath. Beautiful surroundings! * the entrance to the pool goes on facial recognition or QR code (if you do not like photo)

    Groot vakantiepark, maar overzichtelijk en goed onderhouden. De huisjes zijn leuk ingericht met voldoende privé. De bungalowtenten staan vergeleken met de rest dicht op elkaar. De campeerplekken zijn over het algemeen ruim met voldoende zon en schaduwmogelijkheden. Het park heeft diverse (zand)speeltuintjes voor de kleintjes, ‘springkussen’ , voetbal- en tennisveld en pumptrack voor de grotere en voor alle leeftijden een zwembad & animatie team. Je loopt zo het bos en heide in. Prachtige omgeving ! * de entree voor het zwembad gaat op gezichtsherkenning of QRcode (indien je foto niet wenselijk vindt)

    With the camper stood on the camper pitches, fortunately not busy, but spots are narrow, if I had direct neighbors, then the awning could not go out. Otherwise beautiful campsite and especially super clean.😎

    Met de camper op de camperplaatsen gestaan, gelukkig niet druk, maar plekjes zijn wel smal, als ik directe buren had gehad, dan kon de luifel niet uit. Verder prachtige camping en vooral super schoon.😎

    Great campground located in beautiful surroundings. Quiet atmosphere. Clean plumbing and good facilities for young and old. Sites for caravan are spacious enough. Staff is also friendly and helpful.
