Large, beautiful 5-star vacation park with spacious, varied sites. Separate RV sites. Clean and well-maintained restroom facilities. Indoor and outdoor pools with a sunbathing area. The park is open year-round. Fantastic location in the woods next to the Hei.

We spent three weeks at the Paalberg on vacation with our “chicken” caravan, and we thoroughly enjoyed those three weeks. A fantastic campground with something for everyone. An entertainment team for the kids with all kinds of activities, a beautiful indoor and outdoor pool, a campground store, a restaurant, and a snack bar, a reception desk—
Very friendly people both at the reception desk and throughout the campground.
I’d even like to give a big compliment to the cleaning team, who worked from morning to night to keep everything clean. Top-notch!

A beautiful campground surrounded by lovely forests and heathland. You can hike here for hours and come across all kinds of animals. The campground’s swimming pool is also nice.

A beautiful, upscale campground with nice sites and clean restrooms

Just like in previous years, we had a wonderful time camping at this beautiful campground with lovely forests and fun places to visit nearby.
It’s just a shame that there’s so much sand blowing around due to the drought—it would be great if they’d put some gravel on the paths at this incredibly fun and beautiful campground.

It was our first time at the Paalberg. The surroundings are beautiful—it’s a great place to go cycling.
We had a small spot; the location was good.
The restroom building’s awning was often subpar, and the cleaning staff didn’t really do much. They came for the first time in the morning between 9 and 10 a.m., which we found very late; in the afternoon, they were only there briefly, and then they came back around 7 p.m.Every time, they were using a leaf blower on the outside, which was completely pointless.
They were cleaning the entire restroom area with a single mop without rinsing it in a bucket, because her coworker had already emptied the bucket.Also, the building wasn’t locked so it could dry out, so within 10 minutes it was dirty again. The toilet paper wasn’t restocked properly.
There were also some young people who were wreaking havoc and thought it was fun to take all the toilet paper rolls from the men’s restroom and throw them into the bushes.
We were very disappointed that the snack bar closed as early as 8:30 p.m., even though the weather was beautiful.
The pool was very cold during the last week; the kids didn’t enjoy it.The outdoor wading pool for the very youngest kids was almost always empty because it was too cold.
I hope they’ll make a lot of improvements because I don’t think it’s a 5-star campground right now.
