This campsite is highly valued for its friendly and helpful staff who are visible everywhere and dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to the guests. The sanitary facilities are immaculately clean and maintained several times a day, which guests greatly appreciate. The pitches are spacious in a park-like setting with lots of greenery, and families enjoy the fun children's entertainment, swimming pool and many playgrounds scattered around the site. Some guests do mention points for improvement such as the limited opening hours of the restaurant, complaints about the electricity connection and hot water system, and occasional comments about noise from the nearby road.

    We had a wonderfully luxurious stay at The Nutshell. Jacco and Nick really go out of their way to give their guests a warm welcome. The Nutshell itself is also truly top-notch; we thoroughly enjoyed the Jacuzzi and sauna, and the rooftop terrace with the Ninja grill is a real gem.

    I stayed at Recreatiepark Den Blanken for two weeks with my parents. The surroundings there are absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed ourselves! Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy the park itself. My parents had paid for a 10-amp hookup because they love to bike. Unfortunately, they couldn’t charge their bikes because there simply wasn’t enough voltage at the RV sites (201 volts). We’d also chosen this park because it has a swimming pool. Unfortunately, my mother and I both have HEDS. Getting into the pool was fine, but getting out was practically impossible for my mother because the steps were far too narrow. My mother and I can’t stand on our toes because if we do, our toes break or dislocate. And to make matters worse, it turned out that the gray water drain on our RV was clogged. So, unfortunately, this campsite gets a failing grade.

    2 weken op Recreatiepark Den Blanken gestaan met mijn ouders. Wat is de omgeving daar prachtig. We hebben erg genoten! Helaas niet van het park. Mijn ouders hadden betaald voor 10amp omdat ze graag fietsen. Helaas konden ze hun fietsen niet opladen omdat er simpelweg te weinig spanning op de caravanplaatsen is (201volt). We hadden het park ook uitgezocht omdat dit park een. Zwembad heeft. Helaas hebben mijn moeder en ik HEDS. Het Zwembad in ging goed. Maar het Zwembad uit was voor mijn moeder nagenoeg onmogelijk vanwege het veel te smalle trapje. Mijn moeder en ik kunnen namelijk niet op onze tenen staan wandt dan breken ze of gaan ze uit de kom. En tot overmaat van ramp bleek ook nog eens dat de vuilwaterafvoer bij onze camper verstopt zit. Dus helaas een onvoldoende voor deze plaats.
