A comfortable stay, but with some important areas for improvement

The stay was truly comfortable, but there are several aspects I think are important to note.

The apartment has a double bed and also a separate bedroom with three beds: a bunk bed and a single bed, as well as closets.

In my case, I stayed in apartment number 50, … and I must say that the mattresses are quite old and have Bonell springs. For this reason, they don’t provide adequate comfort for a good night’s sleep. Also, the sheets weren’t completely clean, which I think is something that needs to be improved.

Otherwise, the apartment is quite nice and has everything you need to prepare a pleasant dinner. The sofas need to be replaced, though they’re still acceptable and can be used without any problems.

Inside the apartment, there is a clothesline, a vacuum cleaner, and a bucket with a brush, but there is no mop to clean the floor. In my case, I had to buy a bucket and a mop to be able to properly clean the apartment.

I also think it would be a good idea to install a grill in the yard in the future. Likewise, it would be helpful to prune or trim some of the trees to prevent the outdoor table from constantly being covered in bird droppings.

Another aspect I found quite confusing is vehicle access. You must register your vehicle to drive up to the apartment, but after midnight, you have to leave it outside the premises. I think this policy could be revised, especially for guests who arrive or need to use their vehicle at night.

Overall, the stay was good, and the apartment has many positive features.

The accommodations are just like in the photos, with great views, but it gets very hot. On sunny days with temperatures between 16 and 25 degrees, by nighttime it was 32 degrees inside on several occasions. We had to sleep with the only two windows—which have screens—open, and bugs got in because the screens aren’t fitted properly. The bedroom … windows should have screens as well. Overall, it was pretty good—quiet and peaceful. There aren’t really any activities, so when it’s cold outside, there’s absolutely nothing to do.

Pros: The cottages are cozy, and everything you need is provided.

Cons: One of the bedding sets was stained with someone else’s blood, and the floor creaks really loudly.

The marina is okay, though it can get a bit messy at times when it’s busy. The harbor master is nice and always tries to find solutions. There’s a nice play and swimming area for the kids that’s fenced off at the deeper end. The restaurant, however, leaves something to be desired....
The service is friendly
Sometimes a bit forgetful when … it’s busy.
The food is a bit unusual.
Price...very expensive. The drinks, in particular, are at record-high prices.
