Summary created out of 627 reviews

The park enjoys a beautiful location on the Rhederlaagse Meer, with direct access to the water and plenty of cycling opportunities in the surrounding area. Guests appreciate the friendly reception staff, the swimming pool, and the spacious pitches separated by hedges. At the same time, there are many complaints about neglected maintenance: outdated and dirty sanitary facilities, unmown grass, overgrown stinging nettles, and poorly maintained paths. The beach is often covered with goose droppings, facilities such as restaurants and bars are frequently closed, and various technical amenities (electricity, wifi, water connections) do not function properly.

I’d like to stick up for this campground! I really can’t understand all the bad reviews at all. Okay, for the price, they could certainly put a little more effort into the place. The restrooms really aren’t nice or presentable anymore. However, contrary to what’s been written here, warm/hot water does come out of the shower. You might want to familiarize yourself with the knobs and actually use them. They’re just not mixer faucets. Cleanliness often depends on the users, too. The beach that belongs to the campground is beautiful. It could use a little TLC as well. But the photos posted here don’t even belong to the campground! To get there, you have to go behind the fence and walk a bit. Although there are lots of ducks on the water and flying around here, this beach—the one that belongs to the campground 😉—is completely free of their droppings. The water is free of algae or traces of oil. I’ve gone stand-up paddleboarding in these waters quite a few times. My conclusion: If you’re just regular campers without high expectations and don’t need a 5-star campground, then this is the place for you. The spot right by the water is just a...🫠 I was also worried because of the consistently bad reviews, but I can’t confirm any of that at all. I’m glad we went, and this definitely won’t be our last visit here. One more thing: We’re here in mid-September, so of course we don’t know what it’s like here during peak season.

The campground isn't exactly well-maintained. The restrooms are very poorly cleaned, the campground is very run-down, and the beach doesn't look like it does in the pictures—it's very overgrown with weeds.

We stayed at the campground for one night. It was a huge meadow with branches and leaves piled up along the edges, which was used as a dog park. There was no privacy whatsoever. Furthermore, there are no places for cyclists with tents to take shelter in bad weather or charge their cell phones. The restroom facilities are outdated, and there’s mold in some of the grout lines. You also need shower tokens. All of this cost €60 for one teenager, one adult, two small dogs, and the tent.
I wouldn’t recommend camping there to anyone!

Zudem benötigt man Duschmarken.

The reality and the pictures on the website don’t match at all. Everything is old. Our house was okay, but the outdoor area was really outdated. We arrived on Friday after 5:00 p.m. and spent a long time looking for our house because it doesn’t have a number anywhere. The sink drain in the bathroom was clogged. We had to unclog it ourselves the next day with a plunger, since the maintenance person doesn’t come until Monday.
We were there for four days. You always need a car to go sightseeing, since there’s absolutely nothing for the kids to do on the property besides the pool (we also happened to have bad weather)! The playgrounds were old and only suitable for small children; the mini-golf course was closed; the entertainment program was canceled; the internet was poor; the mini-market was constantly closed, and you can’t buy anything there except chips and drinks. The nearest bakery is about 8 km away.
It’s not worth the money we paid. So absolutely not recommended!

We spent 10 days there with our two boys. We had a house right on the lake. Check-in and check-out were hassle-free. The house was designed for 6 people. Unfortunately, it was already too small for us. The grounds are poorly maintained. The road conditions on the property were unacceptable. The beach is unkempt, and the lake is dirty and full of algae. Dog owners let their dogs swim right next to the children. The house wasn’t properly cleaned. The grill was dirty. The garden shed was full of trash. There were no proper instructions for the hot tub; we had to figure it out on our own and end up buying expensive chlorine and firewood. The resort and the activities aren’t open every day. The outdoor pool is freezing cold. The restaurant is way too expensive, and the portions are way too small for the price. For the little ones, there’s something to explore every day, and the park offers games and plenty more. The place is in the middle of nowhere. We were very dissatisfied for the price of €1,700. After 7 days, the gardener showed up in our yard “uninvited” and mowed the lawn. We do not recommend this place.

Check in und out waren unkompliziert.
