The park enjoys a beautiful location on the Rhederlaagse Meer, with direct access to the water and plenty of cycling opportunities in the surrounding area. Guests appreciate the friendly reception staff, the swimming pool, and the spacious pitches separated by hedges. At the same time, there are many complaints about neglected maintenance: outdated and dirty sanitary facilities, unmown grass, overgrown stinging nettles, and poorly maintained paths. The beach is often covered with goose droppings, facilities such as restaurants and bars are frequently closed, and various technical amenities (electricity, wifi, water connections) do not function properly.

We just got back from a 4-day stay in a Tiny House, and our family had a wonderful time. The cottage was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The pool is nice and spacious and clean. There’s a playground right next to it, so the kids who were done swimming could play there in the meantime. The service was also incredibly good! This is our second year in a row, and we’ll be back again next year!

They say you should always start with the positives….
1) The staff was friendly
2) After we left early due to unacceptable conditions, we were reimbursed for the unused days and the additional packages.
And now for the rest:
We booked a Comfort Deluxe Cube and had actually hoped to spend a quiet and relaxing vacation, but cut it short after 3 days. Here are the highlights:
1) Upon arrival, the dishwasher was still full, and both the gas stove and the range hood had to be “assembled.”
2) The entire house was covered in a layer of dust. This poses a health risk for people with allergies and asthma!
3) The tap water suddenly stopped working without warning. According to the information we received, this happens regularly and doesn’t last long. But for someone standing in the shower covered in soap, this is unacceptable! If we had been informed in advance, we could have, for example, filled up water bottles so we could rinse off the soap.
4) On Sunday, the music by the pool was so loud until 10 p.m. that, due to the house’s location, we couldn’t have a decent conversation inside or watch TV.
5) The house has a severe ant problem. We set out ant bait (at our own expense). We were offered poison to sprinkle, but that’s out of the question with a child. The ants walked about 1 meter from the window to the refrigerator and from there under the cabinet, along the refrigerator’s seal, and even onto the kitchen countertop. At times, there were more than 100 ants at once along that one meter! The fact that the ants are finding food there is consistent with the fact that the house isn’t being cleaned. Presumably, there are food scraps or similar items in the gaps between the cabinets, which points to poor hygiene.
6) The Wi-Fi only worked sometimes. However, since it’s included in the package, it should work consistently.
7) Some of the furnishings were either non-functional or damaged. As an example, I’ll mention one of the three chairs (in the living room). One of them was so warped that when I accidentally sat down on it, I tipped backward and hit my head against the window frame.
8) Upon check-in, a kitchen cabinet had to be cleaned of crumbs.
9) According to the amenities description, a radio and CD player were supposed to be provided. We couldn’t find them.
10) There’s a lamp on the table in the living room with a broken light bulb. The bulb socket is still in the lamp. The lamp’s plug was plugged into the outlet when we checked in. Things like this are life-threatening!
11) The towels from the booked towel package and the bed linens from the booked bed linen package are covered in stains. We paid extra for these. But when you look at the towels, it’s disgusting! Here, too, hygiene is a concern when you consider the overall condition.this is a translation, click here for the original

We’ve been at the campground since yesterday; we didn’t read the many negative reviews until after we’d booked. We arrived with expectations set accordingly low. It’s by no means as bad as some of the descriptions here make it out to be. The washhouse near the pool is clean—I haven’t even found another one yet. The pool and play area are also perfectly fine. However, some areas are unkempt, mostly around the campsites. Finding a campsite is difficult due to poor signage, but the real challenge is locating the electrical box. At least at site 8 in the second row facing the lake 😄 The beach is actually nice, but also unkempt. For dog owners, it might be important to know that there aren’t really any nice walking routes starting right from here. If you enjoy staying at the campground and are satisfied with short walks around it, you can definitely spend a few days here.

We were there and can only say: We had booked the last accessible comfort site, and what we got was junk. The restrooms could only be reached via 15 broken steps, and the site was so uneven that I even twisted my ankle. The staff—especially the women at the front desk—were incredibly rude. We were there for two
nights but had to pay for three, and they threatened us, saying that if we weren’t out by 1:00 a.m., we’d have to pay an additional 30 euros. None of the hedges on our site had been trimmed, so we even got scratched by the thorns. Because of how uneven the ground was, we had to leave—it was too exhausting for my husband. This is what the only path to the restrooms looked like from where we were.this is a translation, click here for the original
