    Everything costs extra; only 4 kWh of electricity per night is included—and that’s at just 6 A….
    The power simply gets automatically cut off at some point without warning, which is very unfortunate in this heat….

    Shower cards also need to be recharged.

    But the worst part is the washrooms, which constantly reek of urine! They aren’t really clean either, even though they’re supposedly cleaned twice a day.

    And dogs are constantly barking on the campground grounds.

    Otherwise, the campground is well-maintained.

    Alles kostet extra, 4kwh pro Nacht nur an Strom enthalten - und das bei nur 6A….
    Der Strom wird einfach irgendwann ohne Vorwarnung automatisch abgeschaltet, sehr unglücklich bei der Hitze….

    Duschkarten müssen auch aufgeladen werden.

    Aber das schlimmste sind die Waschhäuser, die dauerhaft stark nach Urin stinken! Sauber ist es dort auch nicht richtig, auch wenn diese angeblich zwei mal täglich gereinigt werden.

    Und ständig bellen Hunde auf dem Gelände vom Campingplatz.

    Sonst ist der Platz gepflegt.

    We spent 1.5 weeks at Roland Campground with our caravan. We had a wonderful vacation. Friendly staff. We were on the Regenboogveld. A nice field with playground equipment. Site 90—a spacious spot. Right in the sun, which can have its pros and cons. Shade until noon, then sun until 6:00 p.m. On very hot days, we couldn’t sit by the caravan after 1:00 p.m., but that was a first-world problem. Bathrooms: We were near the new building. Clean and modern. Music playing and nice and warm. Separate kids’ restrooms—nice. The access cards for the showers took some getting used to, but they’re a good solution and in line with the times. Nice pool! Just right for our 5- and 2-year-olds. We were there during a quiet time at the campground. Plenty of space in the pool. A lovely, well-maintained lawn right next to it. I do wonder what it’s like when the campground is completely full, though. The pool isn’t very big. Nice playground with plenty of shade! Our kids played there for hours. Nice entertainment—not too much, but cozy and laid-back. A well-maintained campground where you can see that the greenery and plants are well cared for. Delicious restaurant! The bread service was great—easy to order via the app. Nice surroundings. We had expected more from the bike paths around the campground. Unfortunately, there are a lot of sandy paths that aren’t great for biking. There are lots of beautiful bike routes and good trails near the Maasduinen Visitor Center. It’s about a half-hour bike ride from the campground, though, so we’d already done a little ride before we could really enjoy cycling there. We took a day trip to Irrland. It was amazing! Highly recommended for kids ages 0–14. We also visited the castle gardens in Arcen. It was fun and nice to see. We really enjoyed ourselves—I definitely recommend this campground!

    1,5e week op camping Roland met de caravan gestaan. Heerlijke vakantie gehad. Vriendelijk personeel. We stonden op het Regenboogveld. Leuk veld met speeltoestellen. Plek 90, ruime plek. Vol in de zon wat voor en nadelen kan hebben. Schaduw tot 12.00 uur, daarna zon tot 18.00 uur. Op hele hete dagen konden we niet na 13.00 uur bij de caravan zitten, maar dat was een luxeprobleem. Sanitair: Wij zaten bij het nieuwe gebouw. Netjes en modern. Muziek en lekker warm. Apart kindersanitair, fijn. Pasjes om te kunnen douchen waren even wennen maar is een goede oplossing en passend bij deze tijd. Leuk zwembad! Precies goed voor onze kinderen van 5 en 2. Wij zaten in een rustige periode op de camping. Genoeg ruimte in het zwembad. Lekker en mooi verzorgd grasveld ernaast. Ik vraag me wel af hoe het is als de camping helemaal vol is. Het zwembad is niet heel groot. Leuke speeltuin met veel schaduw! Daar hebben onze kinderen uren gespeeld. Leuke animatie, niet overdreven veel, maar gezellig kneuterig. Mooi onderhouden camping waar zichtbaar goed onderhoud wordt gedaan aan groen en planten. Heerlijk restaurant! Broodjesservice prima, makkelijk via app. Leuke omgeving. We hadden wel meer van de fietspaden rondom de camping verwacht. Helaas veel zandpaden waar je niet goed kunt fietsen. Bij het bezoekerscentrum Maasduinen veel mooie fietsroutes en goede paden. Dat is wel een half uur fietsen vanaf de camping, dus we hadden er al een tochtje opzitten voordat we echt leuk konden fietsen. Dagje naar Irrland geweest. Geweldig! Aanrader voor kinderen van 0-14 jaar. Ook naar kasteeltuinen in Arcen geweest. Leuk en mooi om eens gezien te hebben. Heel erg genoten, ik raad de camping zeker aan!
